Literally a few minutes ago, somebody posted a mod for this exact car, but we can ignore that I am currently attempting to make my first mod, and this is just following a blender modeling tutorial off of YouTube, at least for what I have so far. I am new to Blender and all modding programs associated to BeamNG, and I am kind of stuck. I have tried to follow the wiki but it is not for an actual car, and there is not a single tutorial on how to do this specifically for BeamNG on youtube, as far as I am concerned, at least. Alas, I have crashed and burned on that front too. Here is what I have so far: So, the reason I am stuck is that I have no idea what to do next. If anyone can help me, that would be great. Should I try to finish the grill and stuff, or should I try to figure out how to do a JBEAM for what I have? If anyone could sort of walk me through the process, that would be extremely helpful. Also, I have this awkward spot where there is this decorative pillar in the front, that I can't seem to figure out how to connect in, and help would be appreciated in that spot too. All in all, I am in a sorry state with this mod, but it is my first attempt, so I am not too worried. If someone has done this before and would like to share their wisdom, feel free! And once I figure my life out with some help, hopefully we will have another Hellcat mod! Any help at all is sincerely appreciated, and if anyone could point me towards an online or youtube tutorial on how to do a car's interior and panels for BeamNG, that would be nice too. Basically, I need help in all aspects, such as what order to do things in, how to do those things, etc. Again, thank you in advance for any and all help you guys can give me, as this is something I have wanted to try to do for a very long time.
This is very good! I love it! (I'm sorry i cannot help, I don't know a ton about 3d modeling, I'm just saying that this is looking very clean and nice!)
Well, sadly i did not make the model, I imported it from Forza Horizon and just had people help me, once you finish the model, i would be more than happy to do materials for you, well, some, maybe not all
Oh, ok. I am trying to do all the work myself, as I want to learn the process, but once I get there, I might take you up on that offer just for some advice!
Unfortunatly, I have not, as I honestly do not know what to do next lol. I am trying to make a simpler car, just a boxy, blocky one that I probably will not release, just to try to see what I am getting myself into. I feel like this was a bit too complex to start with as I am a bit overwhelmed.
Very nice so far! I'm looking to create my first mod too (since I'm on summer break now LOL)! I also don't know how to do ANY sort of 3D modelling, so could you provide a link to the tutorials you've seen? They seem to be working out quite well for you. Anyway, keep up the good work!
there you go. I do not know how helpful this tutorial is past part 8 or 9 because he moves into a high poly model, which would blow beamng up lol. You can try to follow it as best you can. If you go for it, Keep me posted! --- Post updated --- To all intrested, though a bit off topic, I am making a simpler mod, just a big boxy car with a flip ramp on the front, before any progress on the Hellcat continues. I feel as if this is a bit too complex for starters and I should probably slowly work my up to finishing this. So, I will probably be putting this on hold. Unless anyone thinks they can walk me through how to finish whats pictured in the first post. Also, quick question, should I post the big flipper car on the forums soon? Let me know! Yes, I know it is massive
