Wait. What? Your 7770 gets 30k PPD? But.. My 650ti is far superior.. And my computer gets like 17-18k PPD tops with CPU folding too.. - - - Updated - - - You mean the cores for your CPU? Your A6 is a dual core so it has 2.. If you're setting the cores/threads in the FaH client just leave it at -1 and it'll set itself. In (Kind of) other news, I broke 500WUs! AMD's graphics cards have much higher computer performance. That's why AMD cards are popular among folders and miners alike. There's a reason the 280x, which should be $300, is nearly $600. Such a high demand for AMD cards in bitcoin mining.
I know that.. I just thought it was for cryto mining and not folding.. I really should not have sold my twin 7750 cards. I regret that. Last year I tried to mine Bitcoins with my 650ti. I was making about 10 cents per month before electricity.. (I should try Litecoin or Dogecoin with that Nvidia miner tool I forget what is called.)
Mmm. In other news, I started Litecoin mining on my 650ti. Currently doing 166Kh/s which isn't too bad. The hardware wiki says the 7750 does a bit over 100 and the GPU in my laptop does 2. (Which I can confirm because I tried to mine on my laptop.) It also says the 8800 does about 12 but whenever I try to start mining CudaMiner crashes.
Not including the cost of electrons, around $20-25 a month.. - - - Updated - - - ? GUIMiner and the pool site (WeMineLTC.com) say about 160khash/s.
