Am I crazy? Because I don't see a firetruck in the picture.

Everything is an assumption from a reflection on the rear fender that appears to be very out of place. There is nothing that shade of red at that intersection in game. (as of 0.12.0.3)

 

Which intersection is it?

 

The intersection by the fire station on WCA.

Hmm, I kinda see what @Fera is talking about. @BryceCharters' image pointed out that the roadblock appeared on the front bumper and not the rear fender flare. So there's a chance that there may be something there in the screenshot Nadeox1 posted, but wouldn't a firetruck be bigger and easier to see? I didn't see any familiar shapes that could be associated with one.

 

Oh no, it is way reflections work, they get reflected bit funnily from behind of vehicle they can appear to surface that is actually front side, try that truck on same spot so you see how reflections act bit funny.

I would of made 4K screenshot, but I don't know how to get such made with photo mode, I have heard there is a way to make super sized screenshots with it though.

All I see is the barrier.

 

I'm pretty sure reflections are based on uv maps so it must be the placement of the fender uv's.

 

About the firetruck, @Glitchy found this image on google, I do not know the orgin of the image, I'm going to guess it was CS (Community Screenshots.). Here's the image:

So from a first glance it looks so real. But it's fake, look at the shadow, and the image.

Oh and I for more proof that this is fake, if you travel so far away from a vehicle in BeamNG, The vehicles's mesh becomes invisible and you cannot see it. I was in that EXACT Location of that pessima, spawned the D-Series were the firetruck was located, and the D-Series was invisible. (i did not get screenshot since my fraps wasn't working).

So I do not think a fire truck is coming.

 

Dynamic reflections are made by 6 cameras that cover 360 degrees around the vehicle, that is also why they are also quite heavy to compute.

 

Yes, I did this for a prank on my Discord server. I can admit it is fake, and I made it in 15 minutes in paint.net.

smart assumption but they would give us an Easter egg to hunt if it was something on the list like they did with the hopper

a staff member posted "Hopping around" on a thread I don't remember who or what thread but that was leaked 5months before the hopper

 

But, the thing is, the large red object is not there in that screenshot...

There is something there, but what, we don't know.
