car modeling Blender

    If you make a car i blender what mesh do you use Cube,Cilinder, ...?

    And what modifier do you use for car modeling?


    And what kind of tools and Objects in Blender do you use for car modeling let me know

    From what I did, which is not a lot, there was one cube, and that is all you need for a one piece shell, with loads of editing and extruding.

    the easier way to start is with a plane, then you start extruding it and later apply a mirror to get the other side of the car :)

    You will get it pretty easily bud. I like to start with a plane in the very center. Move it to one side of the axis then mirror with clipping on. And then sketch the design in the face and start extruding. But making a real car is a whole different world. Using blue prints etc etc.

    Also you need to move the whole mesh to the center. Shift s and put cursor to center. Then select your whole mesh with a in object mode then shift s and move selected to cursor.
