But the image has the upcoming PostFX or whatever its called. I really hope we get more beaters in this game, as the jelly suspension is really fun (plus they are a drivable form of comic relief).

One of his pictures is the upcoming K-Series Polizei in one of his mod maps. He has blended upcoming content with mods in his pictures before. Basically, if it's not in the development screens, it's not official.

    Then again...

That's a promise as old as BeamNG itself.

Which means campaign mode will most likely be doing that. You’ll get your funding from racing and stuff of the nature.

    R.I.P Greenlight...
    OT:
Likely so. I'm pretty sure the cost of the vehicles in the info section will have a purpose somewhere in campaign mode... but we'll have to see ;).

I went onto this site (seen it some longer time ago also) and one of the new news is that they're searching for a Senior Producer "[...]who will support us in finishing the game."

Guess Tdev saying the game will be finished soon in that German interview some time ago could be true after all o_O

    And also this:
    "Requirements and skills:
4+ years experience in game production, having worked on and released multiple game projects, preferably on multiple platforms"

Could this mean BeamNG will be on more platforms than just Windows?

    Uhhh, ok.
I'm hoping that this means Linux support which in turn leads to the Vulkan API, which they planned for a while ago... it'll allow for PBR and stuffs.

I really think that PBR is coming. They were looking for someone with experience there, and I think once it comes, we will look back at non-pbr BeamNG and say “wow that looks like a total cow pie”. I can’t wait for what the future holds.

Physically based rendering, basically more realistic looking materials.

If you compare the graphics of BeamNG to other simulators like rFactor 2 and Assetto Corsa, you'll see that BeamNG.drive actually has the same graphics

I think Linux would be first, as it has more Steam users and its userbase could have more of the realism-focused.

Any word on consoles? Just asking.

I would actually like it for BeamNG to come on on Linux. Would soon be able to ditch Windows, but can't now since BeamNG is 1 out of 3 games that I can't rid of :p

When you export a car, will all the trim levels export with it?

    Who would of known?
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flat-four_engine

So is upcoming car copy of a copy or copy of the copy of the copy? Well, probably not copy at all, might be Automation exported version with little added details?

However considering these historical details, I would be dissapointed if there would be not even small hint of Tatra in it.

At 30's Tatra was a high tech advanced automobile, leading innovations in aerodynamics and engines, designs that others copied later. Pioneers rarely gain huge success, but those who use what was pioneered are that make it big.

Tatra trucks air cooled V12 is something that really needs to come into BeamNG at some point, however it would be banned from derby racing immediately :p

It would take a long time to overheat or break the driveshaft
