Teaser for Chapter 7 Part 2 of Selva, which will (hopefully) be on schedule this time. Also, this screenshot was a pain to create.
I gotta say, in my opinion, the best cars Automation makes are the ones where you just roll the dice and see what you get. Push buttons, pull levers, and break things until a car comes out of it. Some of the vehicles you get are hilariously amazing: Off road rally 2-door wagon on a spaceframe chassis? Or an AWD van with a transverse straight-6 and Subaru Forester-esque handling? lol
One of my favorite Automation creations is now in BeamNG, the Viajante Condado, a Brazilian compact car from the 1980's. Here I am doing a second race at Grid Map against the Ovanis Pika, because the first time the Pika was actually faster than the Condado, something I didn't want. I want the Pika to be dreadfully slow, while the Condado can at least get a move on when you want it to. This was the results. This time the Condado hit the wall before the Pika did. Condado: Hit the wall at 102 MPH Pika: Hit the wall at 90 MPH Also, I do plan to release these cars at some point. The Pika's going to be delayed because of the issue in this picture. As far as I know, I'm done modifying the Condado in Automation to fix any mistakes and oversights. To give them somewhat of an identity, I'm going to edit their files to give them some more basic BeamNG features, like horns, more color options, and extra info like country of origin and derby class.
When you change the camera to be more realistic to how tall you are in real life and end up having a roll cage bar in your line of sight.
