Would be better if staff would say; but I reckon if it's been fully reworked (interior, good damage model, all fuctions working) into a 100% functional beamng vehicle, it would go with the BeamNG car mods. I built a house! Nifty... Terracotta brick ranch with the original 60's windows, anyone? Only 64 polygons/136 triangles on full detail The in-game buildings from East Coast USA are 10~25x that!!! Keeping poly count low keeps FPS up & model size (and VRAM footprint) low. All textures custom, roof is a re-color of East Coast USA roof texture. Ranch will come in Tan, grey, and Parchment brick too, and possibly various stucco shades, too. Shrubs are from West Coast USA map. Expect to see more buildings each night, most not as big as this one. EDIT: Just showcasing a few of the other color-schemes on the same home (there is a total of 6 different color schemes for this model of house). Not sure if I like the 1st or 2nd variety of these 3 (last 3 pictures) best. ...and I still haven't named the map yet, or made a specific thread for it. One Day, hopefully before it's done. *offers to share his box of Heh's cookies* --Cheers!
just the interior alone makes that look amazing, but are you going to redo the jbeam and mesh to be more crash friendly?
thats mint and how the automation cars should be you gone roamer interior? Last question btw to avoid to much of a derailment
Really nice! One could in theory have Roamer almost everything for such vehicle, not sure if you have made it scratch though, you clever people work so fast!
House making machine was busy today. Gotta quit for the day/night or I'll get 'carpet funnel' syndrome :x Yes, the houses are all similar style, but none are quite duplicates of one another (well there may be one, that I overlooked), but there's quite the choice at the moment. Each house type has half a dozen different color/material schemes for the facade. Mostly earth tones. I will get some more bold colors put in like that rose colored stucco, lime (yuck) green stucco, and other Art-Deco color staples... Someone said my curbing wasn't realistic enough today - and to them I say 'Go play in the street if you don't like it - it has nicer cubs' Just wait until they complain about my train tracks! I am quite proud of this if I am allowed to say so... though the vegetation knackers the FPS a bit more than I'd like, I can address this (as it's not-so-optimized WCA vegetation, gotta give it the BOB treatment like Roane County got that brought FPS up 50% in most busy spots). I am running this at full detail, however, so it should be good once I get a few render-blockers in (the highway and the many, many tall hills will be great for that!). The FPS came up nicely once I removed about 20 spare pianos laying in a heap on the highway (for no reason, honest :x surely I wasn't smashing into them at 100~160mph ) ... Don't worry though, the next batch of houses will look lots different! That is all!
updated engines, suspension, exhausts etc to latest version of BeamNG also added horns because forum kiddies scream when the least important stuff isn't added
