Hey @alex hart , i see that you are now making automation vehicles into beaming vehicles... how long does it take to convert one, and how hard is it to do? (i really want to give my 90s land rover and porsche glass and working interiors)

Glass is easy, interior is a bit more complex. I haven't finished that yet. If that's all you want to do then it shouldn't be too difficult. The rest is a daunting task with many hurdles. I expect it to take a couple of months. @fufsgfen is further ahead of me so he's probably better to ask :)

I do love Automation as it cuts so much out of the pure text file hacking needed before. Although abit rough around the edges with a glitch here and there i think its good stuff.

I punched in all the numbers for a Nissan GTR i had and what came out was not bad! Not like the real thing, which i tossed around a race track last summer during an invitational event by Nissan, but its still more than ok :)
Now, some of the suspension settings seems off, high (strong in my sway bar and coilover case) isnt near high enough but it takes so little to adjust.

The GTR is ofcourse awd but its 2% front 98 rear and is dynamically adjusted by the Attesa system so what i did was set the diff to adjustable or whatever its called in Automation and tried ingame what turned out to be the best, since its whats the most intresting in this case. For this vehicle it was open centre diff, locked front and rear diffs (really weird since that would cause the car to under or oversteer in a unpreditable way IRL) so i opened the engine.jbeam, went to the diffs section and punched in the 'right' type (open, locked). Now i think i need to adjust the front/rear distribution anyway, even though the centre diff is open, but itll show.

Other than this ive had the thought of using Automation to create everything except the body, which ill make in 3dsmax (blender is not my choice of weapon, im too old to learn). Itll make 'quality' mods way faster to produce, even though modelling takes plenty of time o_O

    Mod ive done is here:
