Ya, I don't think there is much info abut the Pigeon in the Dev Blog, but there is a lot of info on what will be in the next update in the Blog. It has been said at other places that there is a strong possibility of the Pigeon being in the next update. Of course I don't think any additional content has been officially confirmed yet.
The pigeon is done, and will be included in the race update. The T75 may or may not be done in time for the update. The covet has a new race version, along with a version that includes a roll cage. I think gabe added the option for body colored bumpers on the covet, too. The bolide has a few new versions. Pretty sure it's a base version, and two faster ones. The physics have been optimized for a 25% better frame rate (woot woot), the parking brake and brake code has been massively improved, there is now a realistic automatic transmission, the ui has been completely rebuilt, and they are currently working on a race timing system with online leader board. This may not be 100% right, so don't quote me anywhere. I may have left out some stuff, too.
Thats a great compilation of whats planned. Also is the east cost map there working on a part of the update or is that not going to be included yet? I hope it is, it looks fantastic.
I haven't really heard anything about their plans on that. Sam sure has had a lot of time to work on it, though.
We don't know when the update is coming out, but we know that there will be a lot in it. The Pigeon will be included, as well as race versions of the Bolide and Covet. The framerate won't necessarily be 25% faster, but the physics will run 25% faster
I can't really tell you much, but I'm 99% sure East Coast USA will be in the race update, there's many changes to the Bolide too, and it now handles extremely well. Gabe also tweaked every vehicle, making them easier and more realistic to control Sam is working on East Coast USA and adding lap timers to some maps(Dev blog) tdev and estama have been working on the race updates, rebuilding the GUI and debug screens, which is the main thing delaying the Race Update I believe, but it will be worth it. All that cool stuff, up to 25% better performance, Pigeon, East Coast(HOPEFULLY), Lap timers, checkpoints, better handling + lots more.
