How to take screenshot?

    How does one take a screenshot of a totaled vehicle?

    I did that it posted syntax error and the game crashed

    Huh. Did it actually save the screenshot in the BeamNG folder?

    Press "J" to stop physics
    Control+Tab to get to desktop
    Click Start Menu
    Open Snipping Tool ;)

    Add it as a non steam game to steam, hit F12, bonus: prompts you to upload the pictures when your done playing.

    where do we find the screenshots? i cant find a screenshot folder anywhere in beamNG folder

    They get saved to the default install directory.
    C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\BeamNG\BeamNG.drive

    They're saved as .png by default.
    You can change the default by opening this file:
    C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\BeamNG\BeamNG.drive\scripts\client\prefs.cs

    Change PNG to JPG or such. Not sure which extensions are supported.
    $pref::Video::screenShotFormat = "PNG";

    Normally ctrl+p for a normal screenshot. Try pressing alt+p, that would normally give a super high res screenshot, may be worth a try.
