Here's one that is inspired by a fictional city and a real one:

    Capeside, Massachusetts
    It is a...

New England port city. Based on the fictional city from Dawson's Creek, but with some cues from Wilmington, North Carolina (where the show was actually shot at most of the time) and Gloucester, MA.

That would be a boring map because Florida is almost entirely flat. Think of WCA that is flat, has terrible road quality, full of traffic, and has nothing but straight roads.

Although it would be a drag racer's paradise.

Then again, not all tropical/coastal areas have curvy terrain.

Think of it like the great plains states, Kansas for example. Florida is like that, but overhyped. I have been to some of the cities you have mentioned, and there really isn't much there for car enthusiasts.

Yeah, because they're supposed to be standard cities/towns.

But you can crash into alligator and die in resulting fire or drive into swamp where you can do some playing in the mud. Yeah, not perhaps most exciting of the places.

Then again, Florida's cities aren't that exciting.... except for maybe it's beaches or theme parks.

Anything with desert-racing whoops. Something to test suspension configs on. Like this.

Maybe a map based off/replicating the Springfield city from "The Simpsons"?

Bob's new map has a small shop that is bit like shop in Simpsons, but I would not mind to have full map in cartoony style and somewhat like world in Simpsons, some may frown upon such, but I did like wooly world, game needs some crazy things too, with plenty of humor.

Cars from Donald duck as well as such themed city would be really great too.

It would also be pretty big (considering the RL counterpart of the show's city isn't that small).

Also, considering that fact, the map's size could be as big as Roane County or the Burnout Paradise replica map.

By the way... here's the Wikipedia page for the fictional city:

I think it would be best to take just key locations and take little bit of artistic liberties with placing them, so that you would get nice usable town gameplay wise and still retaining the theme of original. Like building things from intro of the show to map.

You could also base it after someone's custom map of the city (and could add some new buildings if a few of the episodes you watched include new structures that fanmade map doesn't include).

    South Coast, USA:

    It is a...

...25 km^2 map depicting a fictional Southern US location in Louisiana. Nearly half of the map is taken by swampland, inspired by bayous, bordering on the ocean. The rest is the city of Versailles, with a CBD inspired by Miami's, an Atlanta-style midtown, New Orleans-inspired French Quarter and harbour, a ghetto inspired by the ones in Memphis and Atlanta-style suburbs, as well as a single-runway airport, inspired by New Orleans' Louis Armstrong Airport.

Now this is motivating me to post what NCA would be like. It would probably be located somewhere around Wisconsin and Michigan.

Probably some slums and abandoned buildings there, and add some neat structures (Renaissance Center, Ambassador Bridge, etc. under alternate names of course), and you can get a Beamverse Detroit. ;)

The US doesn't have a north coast.

Well, it does, but it's in the polar circle.

    BCA, big lakes coast :D

Flash snowfalls of 6ft and all that 'fun', definitely would need that realistic snow which is perfectly possible, but no one has yet made.
