Update Speculation thread

speaking of rally version, the 200BX(and miramar) still doesn't have any official rally config even though it has had rally suspension parts for about a year

It looks like there is an open area behind it, so it's probably just a building with unfinished/placeholder textures

 

I can't wait to see if there's a version like the 600 abarth.

 

Right now I am vacationing in Italy and it would be a huge coincidence if it comes out while I'm here.

With the foliage being so thick, you can't really tell for sure what it is. But I'd say it's buildings.

Not really.

It could be either like the SBR4 (German-style Italian-badged engineering in Italian bodywork) or an anti-SBR4 (German-style German-badged engineering in Italian bodywork).

Or a VW Brasilia-style car or a Dyane Beetle.

Maybe holidays and vacations and stuff.

 

All the Beetle peculiarities are concentrated in the engine. Other than that, the Beetle was fairly close to the 600 (or most rear-engined european cheap cars of the time) in terms of engineering.

So it's probably just what it looks like, a Fiat 600-lookalike powered by BeamNG's first air-cooled engine instead of the conventional liquid-cooled I4 of the original.

 

Shame, I like more real-life-like stuff. There's something I find quite alluring in Mafia's "so near, yet so far" cars.

Though some fictional cars turn me on.

I'd still choose a Beetle any day of the week, because Baja Bugs and all the possible variations of the removable body.

 

Instead or along with real human persons? Maybe we don't want to have that discussion


OT: That 'grille' on AB car, just a reflection?

 

I'm going to wonder how long until someone will strap a JATO rocket on the new car's back...
if the new car doesn't get a JATO version

I honestly see no grille in that pic, just chrome "whiskers".

 

I don't think it has a grille, it just has chrome 'whiskers' (like @FLyInG 2 YoUr SoUL mentioned), you can see that if you look closely at the pic.
