I wanted to port a Sunburst lightbar to ETK K. After doing the .jbeam stuff, lightbar appears, but falls like on the picture. I have no clue about this. Can someone please give the solution. Thanks in advance. Here's the lightbar file and photo showing the problem.
Can you show us the pic of Jbeam at the moment of spawning and then right after that, when it starts to fall through the car?
You can't just add the part. You must modify the part. There are nodes in the lightbar and nodes in rest of the vehicle. They should connect with beams. Those beams are declared inside the lightbar part. Read the original part to learn the names of the nodes that are part of the lightbar. Read the original part to see the beams that those nodes are part of. Some beams will be between lightbar nodes while some beams will be between lightbar nodes and other vehicle nodes. Learn the names of the other vehicle nodes that the beams connect to. Use the debug menu (or whatever you want) to learn where those vehicle nodes are. (you can turn on node visualization / node labels) Now use the debug menu to learn the names of similarly positioned nodes w/in the vehicle which you want to transfer the lightbar to. Use Notepad++ to modify the new/modified jbeam to have beams which connect the lightbar nodes to the correct place on the new vehicle.
