Outdated Better Sounds Mod [5.1.1] works with 0.18.0.1

For now I will not that's not my priority and I don't have much time but maybe someday

 

I did exactly what u did in the how to install video yet somehow mine still doesn't work, it seems that every mod I manually install doesn't work. Can someone please help me.

 

Where do you put them ? Can you take a screenshot of your mod folder please

It should work, your game is up to date ? (0.13.0.5)
You checked that you don't have an older version of my mod somewhere ?

You can try to clear the cache, check the game files with steam or with the launcher

 

Hey mate, thanks so much for this mod - I much prefer it over BeamNG's own sounds, even after the update. I updated it a few days ago and noticed you removed the custom crash sounds. I should have checked before wiping the old version, but I didn't and now the crash sound is gone forever, and I loved it. Do you perhaps have an older version of the forum version where the crash sound is still included, that you can upload here? I would be forever grateful! Again, thanks for this awesome mod. It was awesomely implemented.

 

I do not recommend you to use an older version of the mod it may cause crashes and problems. Here is the folder with all version of the mod, just check the latest updates log to see in wich version I removed the crash sound and take the older one

The file you need are "BetterSoundMod_4_?.zip"

I removed thoses sound because I personally think they are much worse than the default sounds of the game and it's easier for me to updates the mod.

 

Yes, thanks very much, I'm aware of the fact that the older version makes the game crash, basically. At least I can now use it with 0.12 again if I wish, and try to add the crash sound into the new version. I grabbed those files of your drive. Thanks very, very much, I appreciate it. And oh, by the way - I can objectively, scientifically tell you that you crash sound is much better than the game's. Trust me.

I quickly made a custom version with crash sounds added back BUT since they use a new crash detection system they sound a little bit weird I if disable the default one of the game, so it use both mod and game crash sounds.

 

sadly it doesnt work *crys* for right now

 

Check the troubleshooting section of the post, what problem do you have ?

 

car error when i put in repository folder where every mod goes

 

You need to put in mods folder not in repository, the repository folder is for mods that you installed using subscribe button

 

Haven't installed this for a while and no alarms are going off. How do you add those apps in?

does it work i cant find the ui app for alarm just the squeal also which cars does it work on?

 

There is no alarm if you use the repository version. I think you are using it. It work on every cars, mods too
