Hey, On my PC (Not a laptop, keep that in mind) I accidentally made a tiny crack. It's only about half a millimeter long but it causes a little disruption when it's on anything somewhat dark. Even a light grey can cause a disruption. It's really annoying but I can't get another screen because the cheapest I could find was *105* dollars. I have a dual-monitor setup but the crack is on my main screen which is about 1.5x as big as my other screen. I don't really know what to do and my parents aren't doing anything about it. I'm thinking I could: 1. Either switch around the screens so that the smaller one was my main one and the bigger cracked one would be my secondary meaning I wouldn't be using the cracked screen as much and that I wouldn't be using it for as important things. 2. I could see if I could get it repaired (Though, I doubt I could because Google thinks that a shop selling motorbike equipment and a Toyota dealership would be useful for a screen repair) 3. I could also try to get rid of the interference somehow because the crack isn't much of an issue itself. I've tried looking up DIY screen repairs but they all show laptops. Keep in mind I have a PC. I've also tried to press on the screen to see if I could get the interference to stop considering the disruption on the screen is the main problem. The crack is tiny. I think the easiest would be to get it fixed considering I have a different screen I would be using while the main one is being repaired. It wouldn't cost much either. If you want to know the screen (for any reason) it's a Flatron L225WT. There are no shopping results and the LG website says that the screen is discontinued. Keep in mind that: I don't have a laptop.
