    Subway train mod might conflict with this train, make sure you have only one, not both.

    I have both mods working simultaneously on the same map at the same time. Mybe you need to update subway mod. Which i uploaded yesterday.

    I created those gondola meshes and textures. As anyone can see, the Erie, DT&I, EL, NYC, P&LE, and RI skins are identical to those in the screenshot below. You will note none of the cars have numbers in BeamNG, given that those are located in a separate mesh for Trainz auto-numbering (notice I originally forgot to number the DT&I car below.) Also note that some of the cars in BeamNG have texture shadows for parts that do not exist on that mesh, since I created multiple meshes with various details corresponding to different prototypes, but zagdima seems to have only used one version.

    As it stands, they were exported in .im format for Trainz and you would have had to illegally convert them to another format to use them in BeamNG. It's possible to do, but not incredibly easy like it is to open a more standard format like .fbx . They're freeware for Trainz, but not free-to-do-whatever-the-heck-you-want-with-ware.

    Because you did not ask for permission to use them, I ask that the download link is removed. Zagdima, I see that there is a similar situation going on with the SD70 mesh. Where did you find these gondolas, if you did not convert them yourself?

    No need, I'm happy if you can get cup of coffee with the idea :)

    I'm always running out of track with this thing, but 200kph is possible even when it bounces. It does bounce lot less if I tie 14L and 15L nodes together with node coupler, or 15L to some of the structure, so this gives me idea that maybe if you add shock absorber beam to 16L and 15L and also on other side 8L as well as between 15L and 25L you might be able to add enough high damping values to prevent bouncing.

    Might try that next, but it might be I'm having so high air resistance that I'm running out of power, it has only about 80 000Nm of torque after all. One real train engine was 54 000Nm of torque, but it just makes electricity and electric motors might put again quite bit of torque to wheels, but this kind of direct drive is quite fun too.

    Also it helps when moving engine to -1.7 or so, drivetrain tuning has helped with acceleration too, wheels grip quite well it seems, with this performance, you could do train vs sports car drag racing videos :D

    Low range is up to 190kph, high range for 240kph, probably fastest train in BeamNG.

    Not sure if you saw this other video, problem is that chains break, also that 5th wheel is not holding trailer too well, drag train would probably pull anything apart.


    For powertrain, you can make it like hopper has it, pretty much, just ignore flange parts, let them be, but don't include to powertrain, few diffs, transfercase etc. Then set CVT to 0.5 to 4 or 3 (3 works better, but depends from your diff setup and speed range can it pull enough with less than 3) depending bit what top speed you want, torque converter size to 1.2 or so, set coupling etc. to suit your needs. It is kinda easy to make train grip and pull hard, but for realism, you might need to lower grip of wheels at some point.

    I guess I better get my "simple precast concrete aged train bridges" uploaded!
    It'll come with a pillar and both a short and long length bridge section(s) you can assemble piece by piece, linking seamlessly (has own collision and LOD's / null detail at very far distance supported).

    Can somebody explain to me... for example, I want to buy a 3d model of a train - it shows me a licence like

    So if i understand correctly i can modify it use in my videos and can upload here but in another format that differs from original file. Is i am correct or I'm wrong, please explain. Sorry for stupid question. But i want to make normal trains so suddenly nobody appeared from nowhere.
