CLICK HERE Anyways the mod is a Peripheral Port engine for the RX-7 because the crappy engine that it comes with aint good enough... no offence yannis Engine is Customizable... Has a Custom turbo also when you want to push big boost... Customizable means you can change the values of the Torque, Torque at certain RPMs, Idle and Max RPM, Shift up/down RPM, Efficiency, Particulates (Disabled, he doesnt have a exhaust node) Pics : Obv 12K is unrealistic but 11K RPM is common for a PP (Peripheral port) Let me know what you think i love racing with it.. I dont know alot about Jbeam atm so wheelie bar is no where in sight..
In an automotive context 'Rotary' is almost always referring to a Wankel. Wankels are not exclusively peri' port, you can also get bridge port and J-port, all three being modifications to the intake port on a rotary.
Heres a simple answer lol... Its a rotary... Peripheral port is how the intake is cut and the exhaust is usually changed to a Circle instead of a rounded rectangle... As said before, in an automotive context, rotary and wankel are interchangeable. If we're talking about planes, then yes, the rotary is a different engine. But to say a wankel isn't a rotary is just wrong.
Just to clarify, Wankel is the name of the man that invented the rotary. It was named a Wankel engine after Felix Wankel, but it also known as a rotary. Nothing to do with German translation.
