But what "Automotive beauty" would have a plain, Volkswagen-like flat 4? Maybe the company was a more coachbuilt, luxury car company until some point when it shifted over to mass market production, due to a company takeover and/or high-cost cars became unprofitable.
I have a feeling it’s more down to coincidence than anything else. Not much reason to hide the photo unless they are purposely misleading us so they can eat popcorn and click refresh page on this thread.
The Typ 14 Karmann-Ghia. Possibly the only genuinely pretty VW ever. Missed opportunity here for "Autobello", they chose to copy the Fiat 600 instead...
They probably leave the pic for the last. If it's subject to change and all devs know its look, why take the screenshot?
Remember, configurations and the images for them are usually the final parts of vehicle creation. I highly doubt they're ready yet, so there is probably only one configuration as of now.
Goddamit, forgot about the Karmann Although, i still think that car was the exception. I still think a mass market car, coming from a company which used to be more upper-class made it. Also, imo they took out a screenshot of a car/never made it in an effort to provoke speculation and drop hints, purposefully including it.
Why did everyone froget about this:https://blog.beamng.com/ui-sneak-peek/ --- Post updated --- BTW bello is beautiful in Spanish, so maybe autobello is Spanish; :-\but there a very, very small chance.
Very unlikely Spanish (SEAT never rebadged the 600). Also, we didn't forget at all, but I guess you prefer to assume.
Thanks for the information. But it's still unlikely Spanish as the car seems to be made for the Italy map.
For those of you who are hoping for an oversteery deathtrap out of the AB car (including myself): Turns out that the FIAT 600 was tuned heavily for understeer by using a special front suspension design. This means that (if the AB is more 600 than Beetle) it will likely be less happy to slide its tail out and send someone into the barrier and to their untimely doom be more fun to drive at high speed than expected from such a tail-heavy vehicle. Of course, this can easily be rectified with oh, I dunno...800 horsepower? That ought to be enough to make it an oversteery deathtrap. But judging by the Beetle-esque engine in the back, maybe it'll be like the Sunburst (which looks like an Impreza, but mechanically is more Lancer/LanEvo), where it only looks like a 600, but uses all the mechanicals of the Beetle.
