Thanks for ideas, not sure yet what I'm gonna do with the rear. It's supposed to have more of a nissan silvia vibe so I'm not entirely sure. I might possibly even leave the 200bx rear lights as they are Update:
I think the rear should be a departure fom the Silvia vibe i personally think you should depart from the Silvia vibe. The 200BX is already a Silvia so I think you should do an S15 or like maybe back it like an Evo 3 or maybe a 9. That’s just me though
Depart from silvia vibe aint gonna happen since that's the whole premise of the mod to begin with. Also, this is still a 200bx.
If you want the Silvia vibe, why not put S15 rear end or combine 5th gen Prelude rear end and S15 rear end? I don't know, this would be interesting.
Not too sure what im gonna do yet, but I want whatever it is I do make to fit in the space of the original lights of the 200bx so I cant go too crazy.
Ibishu 350DX. Coupe with a sports car pedigree that tried to be way too mainstream, but still holds a special place in the hearts of many tuners.
I did add bit more details, but need to adjust those 'boards' near roof as bit too tall now. It is only about 3300 Tris still, so plenty of more detail can be added, anything below 10 000 Tris is acceptable I think. Update: Also progress on this is very slow right now as wrist hurts so much when using mouse, starts to be near the end of usefulness this hand of mine, actually surprising how long it has taken to get these issues considering amount of computer usage I have had.
Now that's a cool mod, super nice! I'm doing a thing. Some of you may remember this... The mesh is from(I believe) Forza or something and I won't have time to model my car, but I need it to test the Marshal-based n/b, which is coming along well(Recreated full E36 suspension geometry everywhere). Very early stages though... Front wheels are still using hubWheels. Note that this is both not scratch made and it is ingame so I'm massively breaking the rules lol... I figured this would be the best place to post anyway.
this is my first blender project but I am starting to work on a chevy uplander I will make desighn changes from the uplander so it wont be a replica of the uplander I wil rebage it as a Gavril I just started this today
That is quite ambitious, but it will help you learn a lot! I recently came up with this and after trying to do some models, I finally can appreciate each and every word in this article. At beginning I would probably have missed whole text as elitist crap, but it really is not, it is wonderfully raw cruel reality, that actually does help https://www.blenderguru.com/articles/how-i-learned-blender-and-5-tips-for-you Not that I would still be able to create rounded shapes, that is something far beyond my ability, but some day I will be able to, if I'm brave enough to fail enough many times. If one can model a Banana, Apple and an Orange to same scene, by just extruding edges etc. Then one knows how to model, I'm not there yet, but I can do some simple things. I would need to challenge myself more, do much more fails, so that I could get better. This because it is very likely that car as a first project will not be easiest, so it can be a failure, but failure is ok one needs those fails to learn, so if such happens, don't give up, try again and try often, each time you learn something new and if you keep up failing, eventually you become really good, that is great part of linked article. I'm looking forward of what you come up with, you have a nice start there, don't give up, no matter what comes of it. That is something I should learn too, there is tens of things unfinished as they are not what I would like to, but I really should do them as each would teach a lot, even they would end up to trashcan, that is hardest part to get my brain around with, in art for each ok there probably is huge amount of useless attempts, so that is why in article there is that point that failing is good.
