get rid of grave digger, bbev parts and skins and it should work. --- Post updated --- I had the same issues and then figured out the problem
This may be a strange thing to ask but are there any other engines that can go in the truck other than the two that are currently in the mod. Because I was looking for a diesel engine mod that would work. If there currently aren't any or there never will be that's fine but was curious.
ok so there will never be one added even in a later update. and since there isn't one is there a way a can make it were I could put one.
I agree with this extremely, I am blessed to be apart of the beta testers and I can atess to the hard work F2YS and all the devs that have a hand in this mod are doing. I have seen the progress and how far we've come and I am very very thankful. I remember back on the sim monsters forum way way back I suggested a move to beamng. It was met with criticism and mostly people saying it couldn't be done due to the physics. I am so happy that I can look back and think "haha yep the physics wont work huh!?". So all you people complaining and demanding things need to take a step back and look at the amount of work that has been made/put in from scratch! The physics are mind blowing and I find 98% of my time on beam is with the monsters. It keeps getting better and better as time goes on, and F2YS listens to suggestions very openly and I've never met anyone ever that is open to criticism and that addresses things and keeps it 100%. So, give credit and support what we currently have and maybe the devs will look at it and improve on the already amazing mod, and trust me when I say that it somehow always improves even when I think we've hit the limit. Thank you to all involved with this mod and know you and your work is very much appreciated!
We do have a Diesel engine in the works (by @ROCKGODBOSS). We need to find a solution for engine sounds yet.
Also coming in 1.15: - Redesigned tow hitch - Reverse light - Even more new paint schemes (Main Mod + Addon Pack are now approximately 275MB...)
Ok. For the sounds what about using the ones that are already in the game such as the semi or the diesel engine in the D-series. And then taking them and beefing them up a little with some like extra turbo sound or longer cam sound. These are just some thoughts that might help create a solution.
Having the sound files are not an issue, that's the easy part. The issue is being able to include different sounds for different engines, headers, ect.
That won't work. Main mod is using SBEAM sounds. When old sound system is detected, the new FMOD sound system is automatically disabled for the vehicle on load, so you can't have both. Only solution would be to migrate and implement new engine sounds, but results have been disappointing so far.
