the model s has an electric engine that is a gas swapped one i looked it up found that same picture and it say that that one is LS swapped tesla also has never made a gas powered car
That was a old post I made before. It should've been ignored by now IMHO, especially when it's no longer relevant.
I don't think this car should be named "letter-Series", since a hypercar like this would likely only have one trim level and not be in a lineup of any series of cars. Keep the name "Eon", but stylize it "EON" in all caps and make it be some convoluted acronym because that's what auto manufacturers seem to enjoy doing these days...
I agree with your suggestion, but I'm having trouble thinking of an acronym for "EON" that makes sense. I'm personally kind of hesitant to change the name's structure that heavily.
Wouldn't it be better to have gas engines as an option. Like having gas engines for low trim models and hybrid or full electric for highest trim. @BryceCharters
It's certainly possible to swap out the engine data and sounds for ones that match a gasoline engine. This wouldn't make much sense though, as there simply isn't room anywhere in the car for a gasoline engine model unless it intrudes and interferes with the cockpit area (unless the engine is very small, but that wouldn't be much fun :/ ). To make a gas version, the shape of the frame and suspension setup would have to change, effectively making it an entirely different vehicle. That's an amount of work that I don't want to tackle yet, but if people really do want a gas hypercar from ETK then I might do it in the future, who knows.
Thanks for pointing that out! As far as I'm aware, the repository rules aren't that strict. A one letter difference especially shouldn't be an issue in this case, since this car is not meant to be a Saturn Ion anyways. Good attention to detail, though!
Hey guys, sorry for the small bump. I will be taking over the project. Please do not ask when a new thread will be made, I'm on a business trip right now. I'm also creating my own car (coming soon), and helping with the Volvo. And before you ask, yes, I did indeed get permission from @BryceCharters. I'll be updating on the Development Screens thread. k bye
