https://www.beamng.com/resources/the-crash-hard-2-0-map.6000/ Made this so you all can report bugs, please add pictures with your post.
Only bug I've found is that some trees have a no material issue with the leaves, which I looked into briefly and found out that the textures were in a separate test map, but other than that it seems all good
while that fix did work, it seemed to only work for up close texture loading, so when far away they turn to the good ol' no texture again oh also these bushes have no texture
Yes that is the nature of this world.. we all just want more stuff... Just be happy, I could have waited till the map was all done before releasing it
Really, the only thing I can find are a few tiny patches of blank terrain in the ravine next to the paved jump over the highway: Other than that, I think that everything on that half of the map is ready and fully finished! I especially like that this map features several buildings - they really add to the abandoned feel of the map!
I love this map but..some parts of the really long road that loops around are somewhat bumpy. I'll provide screenshots in a bit though, since there's another part in that road with a large square bump.
great map, there is a problem with some of the bushes when you are slightly far away from them they are orange but then turn green when you get close i don't know why there are like what happened with the trees but obviously there fixed but the bushes are still orange from a distance?
I've got an offroad/crawl trail idea! (I hope you consider them) A long, difficult offroad/crawling trail down to the bottom of the 2 edges. As you can see, hopefully, there's the end of a dirt path near the cottage houses. I've continued driving after that path ended on a hill and slowly made my way down to the lowest point possible with a stock D15 with lockable diffs. I'd love to be able to crawl down to the bottom and find all sorts of wrecked/abandoned things!
Yes i do plan to have some trails down to the bottom, and this one is not bad at all, so I will look into it
Any way you can put pictures in the mod listing? I don't want to have to watch a bunch of videos to get an idea what the map looks like. Sometimes, simple pictures are all I need.
