Does anyone play Forza? Well, maybe we could have a skin maker for Beamng.drive like Forza, but better, and with more tools like adding images!

Technically hasn't this been since Forza 1 (never played any forza) or NFS Carbon (first game i remember doing this style)?

I dont know how many technical challenges the team would have to face, but having this kind of skin maker would mean that you can download skins directly from the mod repository while in game, and download nad use them rather quickly instead of taking them as a separate mod.

Just like the missions in Arma being considered something apart from mods, and being downloaded and used by many easily and quickly, or like a live for speed livery.

Yeah! We could make our own art and then destroy it!

To be honest, I don't see a point. The current skinning system is pretty easy and lining up stuff with the UVs is fine as well.

Again, find the current system pretty easy. But everyone to their own I guess.

It may be easy, but some users are unable to use photoshop to edit liveries. I'm unsure on how difficult this would be to implement, but I think it is a good idea.

My point wasn't to avoid using photoshop but also the concept of sharing skins as something besides unique mods. Maybe its just a minor detail, but so as to not have a subscribed mods page filled to page 30 with skins.

A skin shop could still be added on it's own (and would actually be pretty cool). Even if it's just part of the repository that is displayed separately.
