Love the update, the new driver camera is awesome. But is there a way to adjust the look sensitivity for the first person view? I use a controller and I feel like the movement speed under the default settings is waaay to fast. I feel like a little squirrel in the driver seat with how fast the head turns and moves.
Well, if I said I wasn't expecting the Piccolina and Italy to drop for this update before tdev said they weren't going to, I'd be lying. That however I think is best explained with what is called the mere exposure and illusory truth effects. The devs posted so much about them that it eventually became accepted as upcoming content, and they didn't say anything otherwise until it was too late. I find the new content to be nice new content, but I wasn't surprised by it. In the end we all react differently to things, and I do apologize if I sounded negative. I do have a question for a dev, in the devblog I read "The actual default configuration of the Pickup will now load if default is selected." How will this effect my default ETK I-Series config?
Your custom default will stay. The standard white pickup though is gone, replaced by the actual default config for the D-Series (V8 4WD Automatic).
Okay, good. I don't have to worry about it getting overwritten or something. Yeah, I saw some users talking about that in the update speculation thread.
I liked this update a lot. It might not have much in the way of content, but the new wide SBR is nice, and I cant wait to see proper support for rotational springs in effect.
I just noticed that changing the amount of cloud cover does odd things to the vegetation. With no cloud cover: max cloud cover: Notice in the max cloud cover how the leaves have like a strange white outline. The amount of whiteness is tied to the cloud cover amount, and when you drive under the canopy it almost looks transparent. It creates a ghost effect for the clouds, where you can see them at all times.
Note that only 'Driver' camera FOV is saved, and not 'onboard' nor 'relative' nor any other cam. Even then, the seat and fov adjustments are saved only one second after you stopped tweaking them, to prevent hitting disk I/O too often. If beamng.drive is unable to run correctly in real time, it's possible that the timing is off and it takes more than 1 second. Judging by your video, maybe 10 or more seconds. Not sure. Try testing it without steering wheel (or whatever fixes the abnormal framerate).
I want to report a bug: Camera randomly loses connection with the car on any map or scenario As example: at this screenshot game tells me that the camera mode is "on hood", but it's not and camera isn't moving
Hello. After the update I'm getting error 0xC0000417 - STATUS_INVALID_CRUNTIME_PARAMETER Already tried: no mods safe mode cleared cache integrity check clean reinstall checked for incompatible third party software updated graphics drivers disabled anti-virus disabled firewall disabled Steam Cloud synchronization (it overrided the Online Features setting) I also noticed that it only occurs when I have Online Features enabled. (Enabling Online Features ingame causes crash. After that I can't launch the game and error 0xC0000417 shows up)
Nice update! I've got a question: Is there any place where I can download the music that is played in the Light Runner gamemode? I completely fell in love with those Synthwave songs!
the tron tracks hohh damn smooth as butter map makers take note, smooth curves can exist got me like woah mama
The parklights mod throws an exception and breaks all vehicles. I still have about 70 mods to go though, so I might find more.
