40 fps on ultra at 1080p with an HD7770? That guy is talking bulshit... The HD 7770 is a good card but that's just not going to happen.

It's so funny how all of youare arguing about the 7770. If it is bad, it is bad. If it is good, it is good. Anyways if you have a bad card, just get another one. I'm getting another one. The gtx 750. Thanks to air killer, im getting the 750.

Make sure to get the 750 TI. You'll be sorely disappointed if you get the regular 750.

Nobody was really arguing. We were discussing our experiences.

For the price difference yes, you might as well get the Ti, but in no way
shape or form would anybody be "sorely disappointed" with a GTX750.

You make is sound like the Ti is 100% better, which it isn't. Nowhere near.

That's just jargon. The 750 TI won't max out the bandwidth of a 2.0 port, let alone a 3.0 port.

Ya sure you're not thinking of the 650 and 650ti? (EVGA 650ti Superclocked owner here. I get pretty good performance in Drive, it's just that my CPU bottlenecks with a detailed car like the Moonhawk. Especially on a vegetated map, then I'll be getting 20-25FPS. Otherwise I get 40-80 depending on map/vehicle.)

He is correct, PCI-E 3.0 cards are backward compatible.

Compatible all ways, though why you'd want to use a 3.0 rated card on 1.0 port an vice-versa I don't know...

As a matter of fact, even with a card such as the GTX Titan or 780 Ti you only gain a 5-10% performance increase with a PCI-E 3.0 port vs a 2.0. The bandwidth in 3.0 is massive, so much that you can get a device that splits one PCIE 3.0 port in to four full speed PCI-E slots.
