Yes, ATI HD 4870x2. Shadows and fog still work as before on Lowest, and it looks just about good enough, but lack of working headlights make it impossible to drive anywhere but open areas at day. As things seem to be still in place for the effects to work, would it be too difficult to fix? I understand not wanting to worry about older hardware, but is basic support (working headlights) too much to ask for until the move to Vulkan? If so, could 0.13 be put on Steam, similar to 0.4.0.6, the last DX9 version? Not sure how will need to be added where I'll willingly give up the ability to cruise around at night... Thanks
Sometimes the automatic gear fails and it just stays on the 1st gear, you then have to jiggle around with neutral and parking gear to get automatic working again.
I'm getting a lot of windows circle and BeamNG not responding during file operations, like saving a setup or loading a level, it kinda hangs and loading or saving takes longer than usual, but gets the job done. Has others got this one? It started with latest hotfix.
I think the FOV has changed in the interior, I adjusted it to be normal on the other cars, yet the bus is still very zoomed in, I used to be able to see the gear display, but now I can't. On a 1080p monitor.
I really like the update, but perhaps we may get a black-on-black interior skin rather than the black-on-blue? I'm not complaining that it looks bad, but I've been trying to make it myself and not to much success.
See the first post please, there's something related. To be clear, Vulkan is under 'The Future' section in the blogpost that mentioned it. Mind the bold text We will see what's possible, but I cannot promise much about DirectX10. It's a problem in the hardware itself, not supporting techniques DirectX11 uses. We 'just' happen to have a compatibility mode, but it's not a guaranteed the game will work fine using such old (+10 years!) hardware. The minimum requirements still mentions DirectX11. Should be just visual stuff, the loading part should work fine. You can tune the FOV per vehicles from Options > Camera or using the dedicated hotkeys. Yep, not supposed to change Time of Day with the Halloween mod enabled Custom sky changes does not work nice with that atm,
No, there is no Ibishu with a CVT in stock content. If you were talking about the Hirochi Sunburst then please explain what's not working for you, it seems to work fine here.
On the Bruckell LeGran manual, with sport manual gauges, the PRND21 still occasionally flashes/z-fights with the tachometer.
I did briefly test 1.8 CVT Sunburst and there is no difference between L or D modes, feels like being stuck in L mode or something, like one CVT car I had, boy was that revving it's hearts content. In low mode, engine braking is enhanced by keeping rpm high and that does happen in same way both modes, also something like 50% throttle is enough to keep rpm at maximum in both modes. I did try hotlapping with it at trial mountain and it was very brief moment that rpm did drop from maximum that box allowed, D and L modes exactly same.
I've had that issue with the " BeamNG.drive 0.14 Not Responding " and the circle just spinning around. I have that issue when I go into vehicle selector, map selector, vehicle customization, scenario, and anything else in BeamNG that you can click on. If anything I've been having the not responding issue maybe a few months after the 0.11 update but never really bothered to see why it was doing that. It could be that you have too many mods?
Multiple issues with the LeGran: 1: The "PRND21" lettering pops up on the manual sport tachometer occasionally, generally on bumpy roads, even though it should not be there. 2: The rear door panels are not shaded properly, and the seat textures are low-quality: I think the interior should just be reworked completely... I'm willing to wait, but it should be done. 3: The 4-speed automatic transmission behaves erratically - although I've been told this is just characteristic of 80's slushboxes.
Hmmm, it says L Also D Sunburst No mods as running in safe mode (only 7 maps in mods folder), cleared cache, still there it is, I think I got better equipped model, they did give you only the base model So to seek out what causes this odd situation, I check the files in sunburst.zip There is a typo in sunburst_transaxle.jbeam then, you need to take out that S I believe to make it have only D mode: "vehicleController": { "automaticModes":"PRNDS", "cvtHighRPM":5600, "cvtLowRPM":1800, }, --- Post updated --- Difference between 170 and 7 mods seems not to be too great, currently only 7 mods to keep variables of problems low. Mostly it bothers when I'm saving a car setup, sometimes circle appears and it takes quite bit of time then (over 10 seconds), while usually saves in split second. Maybe I do another clean install, just in case.
That's no typo, it's supposed to have an S mode. Seems like the in-car display doesn't support that though
Ah, but both modes work exactly same, having sport mode active that displays L in dashboard is exactly same as D mode. Compared to this video CVT in Sunburst hangs on high rpm quite a lot more, especially when lifting up throttle to 0 real one drops rpm immediately and for me it appears that in low acceleration Sunburst does have quite bit higher rpm. Kinda feels like having sports mode active all the time, but I have no idea about those.
