Poor AE86 is borken. All I saw so far is No Texture rims on the black edition atleast. The tuned version's rear tires break off. Probably a lot more, but yeah...
@schumacher the mod isn't outdated, it my be broken with 0.14 but I would put it on hold if I were you, there are only 2 bugs and they aren't major. I love this mod so much, and even though there are many bugs you talked about in the release, I don't care and I think this is the best mod on the fourms, ever.
Tbh, Sneerik, take your time, this mod was released earlier then it should've been, and suffered quality issues as a result, ignore all the people begging for a quick update, and just take it slow, you have real life to deal with, and that's more important then some random mod for a random videogame. Anyone who is so desperate to make inital D memes and stuff can just get the russian mod one if they want an AE so badly in the meantime. And there's many more issues with this mod then just two bugs @Themutlituber, the completely incorrect suspension, the bad textures, the various part clipping or fitting issues, spiky and jelly-like rear end, and even the Initial D config being horribly off. And @D/C, Of course there is tofu in the TOFU DELIVERY car... That's like being surprised when a dominoes pizza bike delivers pizza to your door after you ordered some... (Also fun fact: Tofu box is actually in the wrong area, Bunta always put the tofu boxes on the rear seats, not in the car trunk) TL : DR, I'd rather wait a long while and get a large interesting update, then barely wait at all, and get a 'meh' update.
i thought i would give my experience with the mod since the update too, for me all the new mods like the RX7, the R34 GTR and this have no issues at all despite me having a lot of mods, so could it be that its other mods that conflict with them now? because i really only have vehicle mods and none that add wheels or things like that.
This mod is not fully broken only a few configs and wheels on the Black limited have no texture i think. Normally it works fine.
It was released too early beacuse of the Initial D fans who didn't realize there was a russian mod of the AE86 and the overhypness of them made Schumacher to release the mod really early. Final period.
exactly, then it's either a hardware issue (unlikely) or you have some conflicting files, for me the mod works flawlessly and always has.
Because it's not fully finished and the creator is busy focusing on other things in life such as study.
I just wanted to chime in really quickly, was there a hotfix or something that fixed the wheel issue on the black edition? cause I was able to spawn it in on the latest game version and had no texture issues (I did also clear the cache)
