The Renault 5 Turbo is one of my favourite French cars, I just love how they put the engine in the middle, and sold it like that. It's this kind of disregard for sensibility in favour of fun that could have only have happened in the 80's (despite that Renault did the same thing 20 years later). Perhaps I'll model one one day if I have time, it should be easyish to make being rather boxy, I hope I also would rather like a few Alpines, I rather like the look of them, and they are rear wheel drive

Is that the same one from Rigs Of Rods? I remember it having interior and more details if I remember right.
Yup, someone revised it into a different model GS - that's the only media of it I can find. But the interior's mine. I left it out of the RoR version because at the time, I couldn't export with more than one material in a mesh due to the crappy export plugin I had; so I blacked out the windows and deleted the interior. The RoR version is awful - it's based on the old Bonehead Charger n/b because I didn't yet know how to make my own, and that was before the physics had been completely rewritten to allow for small vehicles to work properly, so it weighed something like 13 tons.

So, if you were going to remake the GS for BNG, how would you go about modeling the Hydractive self leveling suspension?
Aren't most French cars just unreliable and pitiful front wheel drive little things? At a car show I went to last year there was this old Citroen van. It was so tiny compared to the American cars that surrounded it. If I had to guess I would say it had something like 35 HP. It actually looked sort of like it was a normal Citroen with a wooden van body attached to the back..
