It's probably a little too early to post this, but I'm gonna jump the gun anyways. As you can tell, the end of the year is starting to come around the corner, so I would like to see what you are hoping for to come in 2019, just as the title of this thread suggests. It can be a car, a map, a feature, a part, but please try to keep your suggestions as realistic and relevant as possible. Please no "I WANT GUNS, BLOOD, AND GORE!!!" or "PLZ MAKE FORTNITE BUS IN BEAMNG!!!!11!!!" as something like those 2 examples shown here won't be tolerated and won't contribute to the topic whatsoever. And yes of course, forum rules do apply as well, no trolling, spamming, or flamewars, you all know the drill. Post away!
I'm just going to go ahead and say now... a career mode Better AI, or just a better way for the AI to find the next node (I think.)
THANOS CAR THANOS CAR just kidding Actually, I want FPS improvements on maps and more vehicles. I'd like some relatively modern European non-luxury cars, or even a van or a semi. Something like And an F-segment sedan of any origin, BeamNG really needs such car.
Lot of modders to participate in FSAE like car making competition, currently in pre-run until end of year and next year I hope we get really good season https://www.beamng.com/threads/formula-beamng-fsae-kind-of-competition-for-modders.59114/ We can put skills to test and learn few new ones in a process, who knows maybe we can even improve BeamNG in a process
One of my favorite things to do is customize cars, so more official parts will always be welcome. Recently I noticed the crew cab D-Series frame with a single cab is long enough to get a nice ramp bed on it, that is certainly high on my vehicle parts wish list now A engine exporter for Automation would be great. Build an engine in automation and have it recognize which beamNG vehicles the engine could fit in and have them available in the parts selector. Yes I know it’s fairly easy to mod an engine swap, but I still want this.
One of the things that I'm really hoping Beam would address in the future is the lack of alternate body styles for the official cars that they seem to be really begging for.
I'd like to have an Midwest, USA map, and some more crappier-quality (as in the car itself, not the quality of how the devs made them) cars added to the game. Also, better optimization for the game (and especially WCA). Lastly, I would like to have the debug back in the game, it was actually a pretty convenient tool.
I'd like to have the Midwest map to include the Rocky Mountains for some more off-roading areas, or a big city like Detroit and Chicago.
Is Montana in the Midwest now? The Rockies don’t go through the Midwest by my definition. Even though Chicago would probably be more interesting, I’d still like to see somewhere like St. Paul.
Eh, the Midwest is somewhat loosely defined. Detroit would be an interesting one, plenty of opportunity for crazy stunts through dilapidated neighborhoods or something.
Plus, as Detroit is rich in car history, it would make the map more unique. Along with that, it'd also include plenty of historical buildings to enhance some spirit into the city, like with the real Detroit.
the old graphics would break the game to complete hell since it was on cry engine I think and they don't really need to.
I want the Wendover. It shouldn't be that hard to put into the game - it's not exactly a cutting-edge design. Also, the LeGran's interior needs a complete rework. I like the idea, but it's a bit rough around the edges.
