I have been trying to figure out what is causing this problem. From what I understand it seems to work on the first round of the scenario. Once the round is over and you restart you have the controller issues. If you finish off the second round that is having controller issues and start the next then it seems to work again. Does this sound correct?

i get the problem on the first round... i havent tried a second round but i will now

I have found what triggers the problem with xbox controllers: LAG
Trying the scenario with 8 cars tanks my fps, but i prefer a round with many cars... when 8 cars are selected, i am unable to use A, B, or the right D-Pad button. but when i switched to 1 car, the buttons all worked perfectly. Tested many different orders, buttons only broke when there were enough cars to cause lag

I'll try this out now with only myself and then adding one AI car.

Edit: Okay, interesting. I managed to get the controls working again for one round only, after I changed some of the button behaviours into Direct (default is Automatic). But after I resetted the round, they didn't work anymore. So either the problem lies within refreshing the controller functions after the round or then the controller settings are clashing with AI settings somehow.

They are in freeze mode. This disables the gearbox. I made some changes to this for the next update to help with this. Are you loading the scenario in freeroam?

Are you holding the brakes before you tab to other vehicles?

No I pull up the radial menu save car load car and press "r" to respawn car than load car to make sure it saved and go to change vehcile parts and remove the front or the rear brakes and than load the car again and assuming that none of the tires or the driveshaft are gone it should move. Temporary fix til BidWars is able to change that.

Ok great I did read through some of the comments but I guess I didn't read far enough. Did you ever get a hold of the the codename olds mod creator to see if you could put those cars in the mix without turning on the mods? Thanks for you're hard work with this scenario btw, it's the closest to the real thing as it can get

No I actually haven't talked with Serg for a while about it, but he was okay with it, dunno about adding them as a standard feature thou. But they would also need to be tweaked a bit, since there's no manual gearboxes available for all of the configs and the cars are a bit weak on that.

Yes I have also noticed the cars a little weak as well, I guess I was just hoping for a more variety of cars but don't get me wrong I'll play this scenario til I pass out lol also, I think it's beamos mod with the derby trucks? The red one with the wedged rear end (I think it's derby truck 5 in the menu wen mod is on) needs a front bumper! Lol

Well I think you all have done a fantastic job with these mods to work together, best derby type game I've played! Wish I was wealthy I'd totally make it worth your while to get this mod spot on haha

Edit: I'm sorry that this is not the problem from this mod. It's from Peter's mod pack. I should put these screenshot to Peter's discussion thread.

Welded rear diff and open front diff in an FWD car??

This pink pessima doesn't have radiator installed. Note the 0.000 coolant thermostat and false fan active indicate this.
