New beta files available. New beta is largely incomplete - most of the presets are not perfectly functional yet due to changes in the suspension files - and for testing purposes only.
went in to try the new coils but I can't find them under anything, are they on a specific truck? tried looking for presets with them as well but got nothing.
well the shock itself seems to be part of the underside of the chassis and really messes up the chassis if you break a shock, but that's what you meant by WIP so you know that already, for the most part they take almost everything I throw at them so I like them, I wouldn't know if they're this strong in real life but with the coilovers attached to the chassis and axle like as are they kind of act like a suspension strap if you lose both shocks until the sway bars break, it seems to hold itself together better when the axle is flailing around than with the nitrogen shocks EDIT: a little more testing and I landed on the rear left and destroyed the rim, I recreated the bent rim shortly after starting a recording, I recorded it in case it did something else but it seemed pretty stable, didn't cause an instability at least the rear suspension was far from stable, video up whenever, can't seem to do it again though I may have gotten the landing just right twice but I'm glad I got it on camera hitting the same ramp
Please disregard current upload. Huge oversight in the code compromised functionality of coilovers. I have fixed most issues reported already (including graphical glitches and spiking), will reupload in the next few hours. Sorry for the botched release, it was kinda rushed and a few significant issues slipped off my radar...
Not all of them yet, some suspension settings are still under evaluation. Battlecorn was updated to have coils, but that's about it. Entire set will be redone during the weekend, together with updated thumbnails.
New beta files available. Coilovers were moved to the Addon Pack and are now standard on Hang Ten and Battlecorn. From a technical standpoint, this build is more or less final, unless some relevant issues surface. Next builds until 1.16 release will likely only include new content.
This is my initial throw down with the coilovers, sorry It took so long to get my input on it. So...here goes nothing. Initial impressions are good, its a durable suspension that can take a lot more than the nitrogen before the truck starts to "lean" to one side do to the force of hits, which is pretty realistic in my opinion. Anyways I really love the effort put into it F2YS. So far I have not seen any extreme bugs with it. (Off-Topic) If you've seen the new LKS Prerunner you'll notice it has functional limiting straps which in the past I thought they'd be extremely hard to make, I have to say that is one of the things that the CRD is missing. Id like to see that possibly made in the future if ever possible @FLyInG 2 YoUr SoUL. Strap at half extension Strap at full extension
Straps are very easy to do. Axle is lacking attachment points for them, that's the only reason why we don't have them yet.
Ah okay awesome I thought it would be hell trying to jbeam the straps since they kinda need to be free moving almost cloth like. Oh...I just noticed that this has been brought up on the mod discussion page before. Whoops lol
New beta files available, all reported issues so far should have been addressed. RainX Eliminator is now equipped with coilover shocks.
