False advertising of mobile crash games using BeamNG content

Is taking down the PAID APP ON IOS “Beamng.Drive” out of the question?

 

Knowing apple, it’s probably like pulling teeth.

 

There’s one called carbumper.io . I get YouTube advertisements which literally shows BeamNG gameplay claiming to be their own game. But, the game is nothing like it.

 

Do you have a video of it?

Ah thanks, I get the idea behind all the bullshit fake advertising and stuff like that but sometimes its time to flex some legal muscle to stop it from happening!

This is just wrong...

 

Didn't that game already get taken down. They are obviously making money off of BeamNG.drive. Their advertising is intended to confuse or mislead consumers, which is illegal and called false advertising. Since this company is registered in Delaware and they are making money from this false advertising, they should be sued or imprisoned.

 

I made a thread about this, and it was quietly removed without a reason.

 

No, it’s still there. A lot of reviews consist of angry people saying “not as good as the PC version.” It’s amazing that these people actually believe the marketing scams.

 

They probably have crappy pcs and only watch it on youtube and never actually read the details of the game itself...

 

I believe I found another one:

Translation: Beamng drive kill trap car speed fall (?). Google likes to auto-translate names.
Edit: opened it and it's called Beamng Drive Death stair car speed crash
Way too many ads, map looks simular to a modded map (I believe) called death stairs, but other then the name and map nothing simular to BeamNG.Drive.
Btw, loading screen... looks familiar.


There are way too many 'games' with BeamNG thumbnails or names. Quick search gave more then 10 apps in Google Play Store

 

Sometimes they don't even spell the name right which hints to us that they just found out about it and then stole it.

 

Showed a friend the real BEAMNG for the first time not even a week ago. He says "oh i have this on my phone". Shows it to me, blatant rip off including the map they used (looked like gridmap).

 

I know, some people actually believe this stuff
It's ridiculous, some people are to easy to fool

 

You could probably tell that Apple Store thing to blacklist games with "BeamNG" in their name and photos of BeamNG in "their" game photos.

 

I dont understand how the game didn't have ANY deformatiin whatsoever lol
