[FIXED]Wireless Xbox 360 controller stopped working out of nowhere.

Okay, so my wireless xbox 360 controller just stopped working. It was working fine 2 days ago, and now it just won't work at all. I reinstalled beamng and reinstalled the driver for the wireless adapter and controller and still no dice.

I keep getting this error.



I don't know what to do at this point. I searched other threads for an answer, but it seems no one else has had this problem.

Huh, is it working in other games? Since it's wireless, how much battery does it have, I suppose it's possible for it to be too low on battery to function properly. To check this press the Xbox button.

Both my wireless controllers don't work anymore, but they still work in other games. They just won't work in beamng. When I hit ctrl-m to reset inputs it tells me "DirectInput joystick failed to enable!"

Anybody have any other suggestions? I really need help, nothing is working.

Edit: I should also add that while running the input debug menu, the game is recognising my inputs, but not using them. I checked, but found nothing wrong with the input maps (I didn't even touch those, so I don't know what's happening).

 

Did you ever find a solution to this? I'm having a similar issue and I can't find a solution.
