And you guys deserve it, BeamNG is my favorite game of all time, there is nothing else that even compares to it in my opinion.

If anyone here hasn't left a review yet you should, currently mine is one of the only 'constructive' reviews that has been trending, it would be nice if more people shared their opinions on the game and gave it a honest and fair review

 

I'm talking more about the in game screenshots on the page, some of which are rather old.

 

When Italy and the Autobello get released I think it's time for some new screenshots.

 

Those need update too, videos too, but also content on page could use bit more life, I think. Page is not bad, but it does have bit of aging happening.

 

The funny thing is that most negative reviews have very little to do with gameplay, stability, or the developers. Most of the negative reviews are from little kids who play on their moms i3 laptop and complain that it cant run the game. Or they come from people who expect the cars to handle like they do in GTA, and they get pissed when they cant take 90 degree corners at 70 mph, or you have the kids who are angry that there is no multiplayer. If it weren't for angry little kids who cant read disclaimers, the game would have like 98% positive overall I bet.

If wishes were computers, then I would play this game. Unfortunately, well...

I still have the greatest respect for BeamNG simply because it is the antithesis of the idiocy currently plaguing AAA games. Greedy publishers, abusive DLC and MTX practices (Brotip: never never never introduce paid DLC as it will make modding a million times harder), lazy single-player content that allows multiplayer to steal the show, storylines that turn into cancer and take over the entire game, dumbed-down physics, and on it goes.

 

If DLC will contain only encrypted stuff, then I would think it would not affect modding.

But also I think that they had attitude against DLC as well, so probably you don't need to worry

 

Gotta say, pretty much my favorite game out there unless something new comes out. That's not likely at all though

 

I´ve played this game so much, one would say it´s boring, but every time I play it, I find myself playing it for hours and hours. Even tho there is no multiplayer (don´t hate me) or no propper career, the game manages to entertain you for several hundred hours. Good job you guys

That's exactly what I'm worried about. If DLC cars are encrypted, then how are modders supposed to make extra parts packs, swap engines from DLC cars into non-DLC cars, make variants of official parts, etc.

 

Can't really say I'm surprised. Did they miss the part where it was made clear that BeamNG was meant to be realistic?

And if only they knew about why multiplayer can't be implemented, at least at this current time.

Hey, wanna hear something just as funny?

Undertale still has and is still getting "overwhelmingly positive" reviews. I don't know who's more misinformed, these people complaining about Beamng, or these other people who thinks Underturd is good?

 

I remember in 2012 when my brother showed me rigs of rods, I was impressed by the crashes. When I saw Beamng's first video I was excited to see what the future would bring. This game has come so far and is truly one of a kind and that's why I love it so much. There's nothing else like it and it's all I would want from a game. My childhood dream of a game with realistic crashes came true. I can't thank the devs enough, this game is really special.

 

Well, this game is quality over quantity.

That is why it deserves good reviews.

Also, a huge, huge respect for the people like Nadeox1 who try to help everyone, negative reviews, problems on the forums, everything.
They have to deal with all these kids who dislike the game with things like : ''Game crashs i catn play stupd gaem'' and the moderators even try to help them with their problems. Even though these kids probably wont understand anything, the moderators are trying to help, which i think is amazing!

 

we truly do have a really stable community.
like, we have our blips *cough BUGGERDEVS cough*
But honestly, most of that is just some drunken teens going ham for no real reason and having fun. XD

Granted, probably not the best way to do it, but my point is, we have a good standing on YouTube, our community is accepting and very helpful, we have incredibly active moderators, and most importantly, like i said earlier, a stable community. In my eyes, and i think most of you can agree, its only up from here on out.

And most of the negativity comes from ignorance. like clear the cache, perform a reinstall, and delete old mods. That's literally the majority of the things that breaks players' games, and they choose to not do research and cry out for help without trying themselves.

I guess that's why they say ignorance is bliss.

 

I wonder if the BeamNG devs will move their game over to Epic launcher now that there's a new competitive platform.
