0.15 Discussion Thread - READ #1 POST!

Heat is major issue of such design IRL too, stock variants run warm and anything spicier does heat up well enough. Then there is heat soak, when you stop it heats up as air flow is less.

You kinda load heat to block and need to cool it off before stopping.

 

the same settings that get me 60+fps on west coast get me ~40fps (with bad stuttering) on italy

The 0.15 update made mud more difficult to drive, more vehicle get stuck in mud(tested in Gridmap), is that intentional(it makes off-roading more challenging)? And water no longer cooling down the engine.

 

Technical question: how am I boosting the turbo when it's next to the passenger door?

If a car gets to any sort of oil damage, and the engine stops because i shut it off, it is damaged permanently (locked up). Even when the connecting rod bearings haven't gone wrong yet.

mainly the piccolina, and in general the 1300 model has really high friction, like engine breaking can go up to 30hp sometimes, that's almost as much as the engine makes! (1300)
Maybe the 1500 model has even higher friction, but it i don't think it should be this high. Acceptable on the pigeon because it's a diesel with high compression ratios, not so much here on the piccolina.

 

Clear cache and launch in safe mode... does the issue persist?

 

Am i going mad or are billboards now randomly generated, the sign on the exit of the airport was tasti cola at one point, now its a football ad, if this is on purpose, this is quite cool

 

It's actually a bit annoying.

A billboard is something that stays for quite some time, not changes every day.

 

idk if someone already said this but the postcrashextras mod breaks the two modern etks, 800 and k series

i found it while grabbing new jbeams to update for the widebody mod
No such exhaust shows on the part selector

to make it show i had to edit the file as a new file

possible leak?, it does not connect to any such v12 engine?

 

So If vehicle sets on fire, even if the fire is tiny and it's in middle of car, brakes, oil and coolant overheat. I don't think it's realistic.

 

I’m attempting a clean reinstall of the game, as literally nothing loads completely; the only things that load are select map props, the needles for the vehicle gauges, and select details on the vehicle, mainly the driveline and circular parts for the engines (belt shifters or something??).

I’m thinking either one of my 276 mods was outdated, or my virtual machine is that slow at loading the game’s details.

Edit: I know, virtual machines aren’t really the best, but I don’t have much money lying around to get a good gaming pc.
