I kind of got bored with the original track at the industrial site map so I decided to make one that I find much more fun and challenging. I do know that there is a problem with some of the track having some sort of issue where the ground wants to attack the car but it isn't map breaking so I'm sure we can live with it (you'll see in the photo's). Ignore the purple thingo in the first photo, decided he wanted to say hey when it was photo time. -Features- New pit lane with garages Corner-cut preventing chicanes (brutal if you get wrong, major damage will occur if you get too curb greedy or make a mistake) Completely new layout (two corners are similar to the original) Ripple strips! MORE FUN and cool things like that Tough as skidpan I threw in a photo of my slammed Datsun because well it looks awesome I decided to add in the skidpan which you will see when you play UPDATE:Re-uploaded with a different file name so you can keep the original Industrial map
Re: Industrial Site 2.0 (New racetrack) I see similarities to Bathurst. Is that just a coincidence or was that intentional?
Re: Industrial Site 2.0 (New racetrack) Oh wow, I just noticed that actually. I'm getting back to that project ASAP!
Re: Industrial Site 2.0 (New racetrack) Looks brilliant, Industrial was always my favorite. Now it looks like it's properly ready for racing.
I'll re-upload the file with a different name, just make a backup of the original Industrial just in case things clash - - - Updated - - - Can someone tell me if the renamed file is working well or is it not?
I renamed the folder from the original version, haven't tested yet to see if it will work. Will get back to you on that as soon as possible.
Thanks alot, it wasn't really something I thought of (stupid me). I can't see that it wouldn't work as long as you have an original Industrial zip then my new version should just work as though it were another map
aww almost thought it was VanPort Raceway, almost tho, looks very similar just the turn right before the chicane needs to be straight. they have a Skidpad and track so thats the main reason i thought it was, good track tho wish my controller worked right so i have pressure sensitive controls...
You'll also need a fairly powerful GPU, I've found that by putting a ton of tire marks down in a small area really taxes my system. I have a GTX770 and I've managed to get it way down to 25fps just by doing a long burnout
I live in Portland and have seen many races at Portland International Raceway (Including BMW M3 Races, Nascar west series, and some drag races) , but you live in Australia, so why did you choose to do PIR?
He just named it Portland so it didn't replace the Industrial map. I'd say he named it Portland because there is a port next to the track.
That's funny, I see, I thought it was actually PIR because it had a Chicane right after the start like PIR, that confused the hell out of me, thank you for clearing that up for me.
Yeah I named it that due to the port nearby, I knew that would catch a few people with the clashing names but when people open the thread they'll see haha
I was bored of the old Industrial Site. I was looking for a nice, medium sized curvy track. This is what I ended up finding. I enjoyed this map
