This car mod is the best in Beamng! Any chance that you could make top fuel dragster mod? Can only imagine how cool it would be
Also im wondering any plans to release dummy driver in the truck? same style as this FR17 mod has?

This mod has been worked on for 3 years by numerous people....can't just "make it".

 

I saw one really cool model on the forums but yeah no progress there in long time...

 

Our team isn't going to make a top fuel dragster as we have a long list of plans for this mod. And there was a dummy long before I was here, that idea was later scrapped before it made release.

I'm now implementing shift light for the truck. With the occasion, the whole instrument cluster will be redone.

 

Just as I thought it couldn't get any better

 

Shift light and retention straps are the most frequently requested features.

So, it's time to get both done...

 

Switched positions of tachometer and speedometer + shift light...

i so want to play with this mod but the reason i don't is because it doesn't get damaged. only the plastic covers and the wheels fall off.

 

please tell me how you've never broke a shock or a four link, I've completely destroyed this truck, sometimes in ways that shouldn't even be possible, as shown here

 

The rollcages used there are often times stronger (Atleast I'd think so) then rollcages for racing because...they could do a Dennis Anderson and land straight on the roof. They do sometimes bend the rollcages, especially pre-2010's, but it's not that easy. Either way, like Shelby said, that's usually how they break; the mechanics and rarely the engine/driver-compartment itself.

 

The chassis is supposed to protect the driver, not kill them.

 

I mean, there's like two dozens breakable and detachable parts in the suspension alone, but people complain anyway smh...

Exactly. That's both because it's not supposed to be damaged, and because BeamNG only supports uniaxial beam deformation.

 

the chassis of a stage 3 monster truck does not bend. that and BeamNG doesn't do tubular structures very well when it comes to bending or breaking.

 

Wow! This is a lot of effort for this mod nice one! Really good job!
