For the past year, I've been having a problem with losing force feedback when I freeze physics or use slow mo, and it won't work unless I go to the main menu and load up the map again. I have a Thrustmaster T150, and all the connections and drivers are fine. I've tried messing with the settings and looking through the game files, but I've gotten nowhere.

    My specs:
    AMD Ryzen 5 1600
    Radeon RX 590 8GB
    Radeon RX 590 8GB
    24GB RAM
    Windows 10

    My T150 does this too.

Mine does it less, when in force feedback settings I choose FFB update rate to 400 instead of automatic, other than that, there has been much of nothing that affects it reliably and also it occurs quite randomly.

When I did install printer drivers for new printer and moved computer to different place, that did fix most of it though, totally explainable that how that affected it.

Your logs might reveal something important, so I think devs might want to ask support ID from you.

I think it has something to do with the in-game physics, mostly because slow-mo and, as the name implies, freezing physics deals with how the physics engine works. Messing with gravity and stuff won't break it, but those two certainly do. I've also messed with the ffb settings and nothing has changed. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I did send message to stenyak who is one of the developers and has been looking into this issue earlier, so maybe he can get something out from your logs or maybe some common detail can be found which helps to track the issue.

It might be next week though.

What I have seen is that from some reason as physics are paused/unpaused or vehicle swapped to another with tab key there is query to FFB of wheel and something there does break down in code, but I don't know if that is BeamNG side, Thrustmaster side or Windows side of issue.

I did a little testing. While switching through multiple vehicles, I don't lose feedback at all, it just crashes the game after awhile. The same goes for when modifying a loaded vehicle really fast. Some modded vehicles (like those from the repository, forums, and Automation) don't have ffb at all, but that's really rare since it's dependent on how old that mod is (mostly if it's coming directly from the forums). If I load a vehicle without ffb, I can load up another vehicle with ffb and it'll behave normally. The only things that seem to break ffb are freezing physics and slow-mo. I get no erratic behavior when crashing at ludicrous speeds (220+) or when I've switched over to a car being controlled by the A.I. Framerate doesn't seem to affect it (tested between 10-150 fps), so that's out the window. I've updated the drivers and cleared out the cache, same results. I've done a modless load (since its possible my 150+ mods could've contributed to it), no dice there. I'm officially at a loss on how to fix this.

Thanks @Shockapow and @fufsgfen for your invaluable input and feedback (puns intended). After some testing, the bugfix will be shipped with the next update :)

PSA: if anyone else was having issues, the latest version includes various fixes for this issue, make sure to update your game.
