I found myself from the weird part of YT again, then I had to play it again as it is in some way quite good:
Currently on a 6 hour car journey. Turns out drawing in the back of a moving car isn't so easy, but also, isn't so bad. I generally visualise 3d design ideas in my head, but the problem is remembering them. So I needed to jot them down somewhere. I'm not good enough at drawing to capture the real details, but as long as it jogs my memory its all good. Apologies for a photo of a screen, but only my phone has Internet.
I could have, but life is too short for all that faff. Plus I am not sure if my contract includes that. Yes, it is a Yoga12.
That's a pretty good simplistic design, I gotta say. I'll see if I can try to do another car drawing tomorrow, but being fictional this time.
After realizing that I had grossly overestimated the actual threat of speculative execution attacks, I finally switched my Linux box back on today. I now need ideas of what to do with it. Anyone?
You could keep it running non stop for two years and them boast about uptimes and complain how windows can't match them, that used be a thing to do with Linux long time ago. //// I was playing rFactor 2, then I did play BeamNG, after that I did notice I had forgot rFactor2 running, it does not take too much resources when running on background I guess. When any game runs in Borderless window, there seem to be bug in my Windows that there is no taskbar icon for such program and when having browser or something open, there is not really telling if game is running behind that or not.
Update on the Linux box: I built the new COBOL compiler from source and the tests it came with all succeeded. However, NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) offers a suite of tests designed to ensure COBOL85 compliance, available for download on their website. I am not comfortable installing the COBOL compiler until I run those tests. Unfortunately, thanks to the ass clowns in Congress and the White House, the US government is partially shut down - including the NIST website. This means that until Congress passes a budget and the President approves it, I can't test my compiler, which means I can't install it. bUt MuH wALL!11!!1!
