Re: General discussion chat Well I just found and old implementation of the shunting yard algorithm I wrote in python ages ago while searching through my old hard drive. Turns out I never completed it, just tried to complete it and totally broke it \o/ Has a thing for fucking up operator precedence and loves to add duplicate multiplications for some reason. Oh well, didn't need it for anything. - - - Updated - - - Wrote a new one because the old one infuriated me, works just as badly \o/ EDIT, do not confuse lesser than for greater than and vice versa, now its slightly less fucked still not right though
Re: General discussion chat after 2 hours of banging my head on a desk, the code works \o/ or at least I say it does. The output it gives me doesnt 100% follow the algorithm but is actually valid and evaluates to the same answer as expected (or at least it does if you use a float, rounding errors creep in under integer arithmetic)
Re: General discussion chat Even though I do not post a lot of things on this forum, I feel like we need a change. I feel for Drowsy, because IRL it has happened to me many times. Also, I noticed a lot of cool peeps have dropped out on us, and the decently good members are trying as hard as they can to help this forum.
