The gta 5 physics bother me way to much. The cars have absolutely no suspension, and they hold the road way to well. In 4, I think they had the right amount of grip, but the lack of anti roll bars on every vehicle made them slide around a lot.
gonna crash a datsun into my silverado,in the meantime heres some good 50s music 4 you guys - - - Updated - - - in gta v it is impossible for me to drift the futo,in 4 it is SOO easy to drift, and the damage physics in gta V,ugh they are EXACTLY (almost) like gta IVs damage
And in 5, the cars are really tough. But they're also too weak in some ways. You can do waaay more damage just by kicking a car than you can in a head on collision. It's kinda phucked up.
They are made for completely different purposes. BeamNG is amazing, and GTA is hilarious and pretty sweet.
Huzzah, no sneaking games past parents here walk into shop, pick up from shelf, take to counter, if questioned show ID, ???, profit. GTA5 I thought was a fun game but driving was much better in 4 and what the hell is with being able to roll your cars??? You seem to be much tougher than Niko was and giving all 3 characters superpowers was stupid. Also my Xbox is dying so hurry up PC release (which i wont buy anyway) \o/
I'm 100% with you on this. If it ever gets to PC (rumors say June ) I'm sure it will be modded so cars behave realistically like in GTA IV. I really can't enjoy driving in GTA V I'm gonna install GTA IV again just for things like this: http://www.xfire.com/videos/39cc58
My mum and dad wont let me get shooting games but yesterday I got my mum to buy me arma III off gamefanshop and she did. After she bought it she asked me what it was about my reply ; ehm..... A real time strategy game ? she let me keep it still downloading it though.
I like Arma III. I made a lone wolf style map that randomizes the enemy positions and what kind of weapons they have. It also tweaks the way they move. I had to program them to find cover because the game is more geared towards very large open areas and my map is close to mid range combat. It's fun though.
Ewww GTA V.... I played it for an hour and almost went full retard for the awful cat physics, it still gives me nightmares.. Thank goodness for BeamNG! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
GTA V isn't about the physics, if they had beamng physics the game would not even be able to run on a supercomputer....
You need to remember that GTA was made for entirely different reasons. It is trying to be as fun as possible to the average players, allowing them to easily run away from police helicopters among other things with small amounts of practice. It would be unfair to bash the game because the driving physics aren't realistic. They're not trying to be realistic, they're trying to be fun.
I've never played GTA 5, but I did like GTA 4's driving. I could only imagine that the physics in GTA 5 were made so floaty and arcade-y is to make up for the fact that there are so many more places to explore in terms of the wilderness, while GTA 4 was pretty much only normal streets to drive on.
When I was young my mother didn't care what I played or watched, she just saw it as keeping me off the street. Once she even sat down and had a go, she enjoyed it. - - - Updated - - - GTA IVs driving physics were great for drifting & it had realistic weight distribution which I liked. GTA V has perfect driving physics for highspeed driving & stunts but no weight distribution which annoys me.
Whats even worst is level 40 in multiplayer and then bam rockstar resets the servers. (Level 40 took me two days of hard work).
So are you saying you lost all your rank? Because i've been playing online since it came out and haven't lost my rank yet. sounds like you were caught cheating or something.
I haven't heard of anyone hitting 40 in 2 days, but I don't follow the game too much so I guess it might be possible to go either way
