Basically as the title suggests. If I have four cars ranging from bus to super sports, I want the super sports to take the lanes that it will survive and the bus to take the lanes that the super car. . wouldn't take. Sort of like the 0.5 = "less desirable road" but something along the lines of, "class 5 cars and up" "class 9 cars and up" etc.. Just popped in to my head, haven't thought it through but I'm sure others have had a similar desire!
Do they even have AI in freeroam yet? I mean... good idea if they've got them already cruising around, otherwise it's a bit early for me to care. If they can only get like 2-4 other cars on an entire map, I don't think it's gonna make a difference.
Where else is AI? I only ever use it in freeroam. Also, referring to making a map, and having the ai do what I'm suggesting =)
I bet the AI can't do that. They drive extremely recklessly around corners and crash all the time. The BeamNG team really did great at creating very accurate representations of drunk drivers. I laugh at how dumb they are
except when drunk drivers are running from the police and are about to miss their turn, they turn anyway and might end up crashing. in beam they just slam on the breaks and slowly inch their way into the turn as slow as possible until the turn is made. sorta like a drunk driver who doesnt wanna wreck his ferrari.
They don't do that in my BeamNG..., they are absolutely horrible cops too, just at the last second, just swerve and hit the brakes and the AI will slam into a tree or building --- Post updated --- I also made a video of the Artificial Idiot being a cop
Yeah I've noticed that with the AI on their first run they miss all the turns. When I reset them (r) they are MUCH better, as if they've learned but then each time there after they don't improve or change.
I think it's a good suggestion but ahead of the current state of AI. The AI doesn't know yet how to use lanes, except to stay right of center if the in-lane setting is on. But when the devs add proper traffic AI, I'm sure proper lane usage will be considered.
