Happy to hear that my map made to your recommend list thank you. I could try your rocks too see how they will fit on the map. The rocks that i am using on the map right know are from the game it self i just changed the texture color.

Also i found some free cactus model and tried then out on the map.
But i am afraid i cant use then on the map because it is going to kill performance by 40% mostly because the model is high poly.

Hmm, how difficult is it to zone them to more specific regions? Although those are Saguaros from my neck of the desert, and I'm not sure they're around in the Mojave. XD

This was the model that i used for the mountains https://sketchfab.com/models/8a2cba9ed73b4e98b201efeda8df1c05. I will try to make it more desertish by change the colors.

I have been working on the rocky path with this model https://sketchfab.com/models/1d9c63abeaf14643bf67c76f3cbcabf7.
Please let me know what you guys think.

Plus i would like to ask something but i dont know if here is the place but hey.

Can i use brand name vehicle models on the map.
    Thank you in advance

The biggest thing that sticks out to me about that rocky path is that I'm assuming it's the section with the mine, or near the mining town, and the only place I've seen big, smooth rock formations like that is on mountain tops or dried rivers. If it's the mine path, think more along the lines of the rocks being cut, chipped, and carved to get wagons/vehicles in and out, as well as being worked on. Generally the rocks should be a bit craggier as well. Something like this:

This one actually is an open pit mine:

This seems to be a good bundle of other rocks that aren't ridiculously high-poly.

As to brand name vehicles, I don't see why not. It's a mod after all. If you want to "Beam" it up, you could probably take the pickup and delete most of the internals and make it a solid static prop object.

I haven't really played Beam or this map in a while, but it looks pretty good. Not 100% sold on the people near the rock trail though.
Nice to know it's being worked on, still a great map.

For posterity reasons with myself, I'm going to quote myself.
    1. I don't know if you changed the vegetation, but I still dropped it to about 50%. Gave a little FPS boost too.
    2. It seems like you "widened" the track a little bit from what I remember, which is nice. Could be wrong, haven't played it in a while.
    3. Issue still stands with the trail being hard packed on top of the dunes despite a softer trail being present elsewhere. Also still think random sand patches would be nice in lower gulleys like washes.
    4. Didn't look around much, but I didn't notice anything new. It's a small thing.
    5. Rocks are still present, and a mine still... not present. If you could rearrange the rock walls to have a hole or two, or maybe a boarded up shaft I think it would be a bit more interesting. I feel like the rocks that are present aren't as bad as they used to be though, so it's not trying to do rock crawling anymore.
    6. The rocks look great! Maybe a bit low poly, but optimization, I get it. Textures are nice and they match the environment. Also noticed more of them are more buried than before, so they aren't just a lumpy potato sat on top of the ground. Rock walls look good too.
    7. I didn't actually take that path... but the second half (especially the bit before the lakebed) is pretty rough, in a good way. I feel like I saw some washboards, but they might've also just been the repeating trail texture. Didn't see any whoops.
    So, new things.
    1. It's cool that you added a rock crawling section for people that like that.
    2. Again, the mine thing kind of bothers me. XD The rock walls look good, but they're really close to the trail that the... mine that isn't there would have to use. In my ideal world of your map (I'm entitled okay!) the area around and before the mines would be a little wider to allow for equipment and large trucks. The mining town doesn't look quite 1800's enough to use horse and buggy. After the mine it could close in tight.
    3. The mountains look really good too, but on one side it's noticeably too high so you see underneath it. The scaling on them also seems weird, especially when you're near the edge of the map. I'm thinking maybe reduce the z height a bit or push them further away from the edge of the map.
    4. The rocky texture surrounding the edge of the map I think could be replaced with the rock walls if you want to go that route. As it is it doesn't really blend with anything else, and it's weird coming out of the mines with rock walls all around to some... weird flat textured thing.
    5. I like the blimps and hot air balloons. Think maybe dropping them down a bit would get them more noticeable. Forza Horizon keeps those kinds of things pretty close to the ground so they're more visible.
    6. The added tents and campers at the start are cool. Still not 100% on the people. Maybe just a bit more geometry on them, they're a little PS1. Also, the tents have arrow signs in front of them that have the wrong texture. It's just the sponsor billboard.
    7. There's some fallen trees around the beginning that look very not great. They seem to be entirely untextured, and are floating in the air.
    Some other notes that may or may not just be my game;
    1. Some textures from a distance were showing the orange no texture warning. They popped in fine once I got closer.
    2. Some seemingly random and large FPS dips from ~90 to ~40. Seemed more frequent near the edges.

There are no LOD textures for some of the rocks.
(and a bunch of errors in the console)
    Capture.jpg
Aside from this I have no issues. This is one of my all time favourite maps :D

How well would it run on my horrid PC? (I get around 20FPS on West Coast USA)

It's better than West Coast and Italy.
