I've looked in the zip files for the ETK 800 & the K-Series, and found no reference to a V10 engine, only a V12.
When? Can you quote us a post that talks about a V10 for the K-Series? Just because people have talked about it doesn't mean that it's going to happen, it's called speculation for a reason.
The only V10 related thing is the fact of us having unused sounds in game, that's all. If a V10 would come to the game it could be everything, from an american front engine death trap supercar or a heavy duty truck engine, or even a modern supercar. --- Post updated --- Or they could stay unused and left for modders to have some fun.
For all we know, these engines could be cut permanently, and the devs just left the files for modders to play with. Personally, I think a SBR4 hybrid would certainly be odd, their aren't many hybrid versions of high-end sports cars. The sunburst would make much more sense, almost every modern Japanese compact/midsize has a hybrid option, even if they're rare/Japan only. The same can be said for the ETK V12. In the K-series it would make a bit of sense for a very high-end/luxury/ homologation car, but a V10 would be more sensible, and a V8 would even make sense on the 800 series too.
That's literally 1 example. He's saying there isn't many hybrid variants of said high-end sports cars.
That’s a 2020 model year car, SBR4 is 2013-2016. Also, I don’t recal the pricing of the SBR4 but I’m sure it’s a far less expensive vehicle than that Porsche. The other electric Porsche’s are a similar story. I’ve been saying this for awhile now, I really want a K-Series based performance car. Bigger engine, hybrid system, active aero, aggressive body kit, etc...
Regarding that, do you have any conclusive evidence that a SBR4 hybrid could be in the game? If not, there's no reason why it should be on your list of possible 0.16 features.
They're not even in the same "league" (and are way more expensive) as the SBR4. Also, that's still not that many hybrid high-end sport cars overall.
Still, @Capkirk said that there isn't many sport car hybrids (I wouldn't call 3 many), and those cars are much more modern than the SBR4, as @ManfredE3 said.
The SBR4 TT S2 costs $85,000. The NSX starts at around $150,000, and the i8 at about $190,000. The only one of those that is close is the Panamera, which starts at ~$90,000. The SBR4 is a high performance sports car, but pretty much all performance hybrids are supercars.
