Paint jobs

Just kidding. I was actually working on a skin for the official mod over break so it could be released along with 1.16 or in a future update depending on if I can finish on time.

 

I just want to say that these aren't working for me because when I go into beamng it says that the mod is installed incorrectly. I have CRD installed and I think I might need something else but I don't know what. PLEASE HELP I really want to use these skins because they are so good.

 

Quick question, have you tried re installing the newest version of the mod?

yeah and I keep on doing that and nothing ever really changes to the paintjobs so that I could use them

I tried that but nothing happened and I don't get what I have to do to get it to work

 

Best I can suggest is clearing your cache, if that doesn't work then something is probably conflicting, maybe try deleting stuff that you don't want, if that doesn't work then just try reinstalling the game

 

Ok thanks I’m tried putting everything back in the mods folder and that didn’t work so I’m going try to reinstall beamng

It isn’t the game’s fault, where are you placing the CRD and skins?

 

The mods folder under beamng in documents same with the crd

 

What skins are you using? Because most of them you need to find in the parts selector.

 

I’m using orcs, I don’t really know the others but on the paint jobs and Jedi pack page installed a whole bunch of skin packs

 

Orc’s body pack you use the body option, not skin. And what version of the CRD do you have?

Any skin that is a .zip file goes in mods folder.

i just don't get how to install the skins onto the game because when I load in a skin that is not included with the original crd skin pack, it would say that it is installed incorrectly(examples of crd oringinal skins like patience, steer clear, dried, grip all,and driving school, there is more but those are the ones that come to the top of my head)

 

Where are you placing the skins? Are you placing them in the CRD folder? Because they shouldn’t be in there.
