Offroad parts and maps!!

Someone needs to make some decent offroad bumpers, rock sliders, and fenders. there has been a few to attempt but most either dont work anymore or fell through. Also we need some good rock crawling maps because lets be honest, Crawl Central was the only decent one for rock crawling. The armor needs to be able to take a beating on the rocks without bending.

Water crossings, shelf roads, HUGE obstacles, V notches to straddle, Rock walls to climb, etc.
Look up King of the hammers, or Holy cross trail, or Carnage Canyon.

Yes, yes & yes. Offroading is in my top 3 favourite things to do in BeamNG due to how realistic the physics are, so having more offroad parts & maps would be a blast...

Might think about making some offroad parts for the official vehicles, but after I finish the B1

 

I'm also thinking on making a part pack. I just need the time, motivation, knowledge and effort to do it.

 

Had some luck with these trucks, preaty well setup for pro comp crawling

 

Lol me and itsyourboi designed the roamer and Krawler tires together

 

I am actually surprised there isn't more simple mods like bull bars, rear bars or just simple guard cuts, basically every mod so far changes HEAPS of things like completely overhauling the suspension and body into a comp truck or rock crawler.
I would love to see just some more simple things like a guard chop that allows you to fit a 38" tire on the roamer/d-series, or just some simple rock sliders that don't require a custom frame to fit them.

I have tried making a few maps and would love to keep going on them, currently i am lacking some features in the editor and the latest update seems to have broken the default mud, but more customization would really help getting the motivation back.

Already have that mod, its a must have for offroading in BeamNG, but the guard cut is a little too much up front for some tires and only the rear quarter is chopped so 38s still clip quite alot unless you run heaps of lift, and you loose the option of running flares.
Maybe we should make a mega thread with links to all the known offroad mods, i know i have been a few months late in finding some that get lost in the forum.

It’s made by @ItsYourBoi but it’s broken in the new game update. So it won’t really do you any good. But expect an update sooner or later.

 

any news on the above pictures? had the best roamers trucks with the rock sliders but still doesnt work (2020)

 

No update on them as of now. Keep an eye out on his mods section to see when it gets updated.
