Under options/gameplay, you can turn on "Simplified collision physics", which means cars can pass through each other, but they can still collide with the environment. This works in the multiplayer I'm doing! I turned it on so my friend and I could drive through the hills of Italy without constantly bumping and flipping each other. So yeah, you can do exactly what you want!

Now that I think about it, you could also press F7 and put the camera up high, showing the full track (if it's a fairly small track), so that you don't need to deal with the camera zooming out if the two cars separate.

Yes, something with the .dae models broke so they could no longer be used. If they could, it would put very little strain on hardware.

That sounds like fun and all, but I meant with each player playing from their own computer.

(We are playing from our own computers). But it would be nice if two separate cameras could follow the cars. I'm not sure if there's a way to insert a second camera angle for a second car, like one of the apps you can put on the screen. That would actually be a good app for the devs to add, as it would also benefit single player people, with multiple crash angles.

This method is working online multiaplyer! -->

I dont know, but for me, this is a nice way to play BeamNg online multiplayer, each person in his own computer, with almost no delay, and no big setups.

This is nonsense, no individual camera for each player is nothing.

Yeha, but that works the best if you have a local multiplayer where each of you see your own screen, unlike BeamNG where you see it all through just one camera... so it's like playing the multiseat mode, but just through internet

My friend and I have using a screen sharing program called parsec, which I believe I heard about from this forum. It helps if you use discord and if you know the person so you can give them keyboard controls. His computer does the work, because he has a lot better of a computer than me. It doesn’t have split screen or anything, but we can control separate cars. Pretty cool.

Ye i know, it suc** to dont have a individual camera, i cant belive that no one made a mod to a camera that chase each car... but this is the best way that we can get to play with colleges online >.<

So excuse me if I'm overthinking this or missinf something but i may have an idea if someone wants to try this out. So, lets say we have 2 seperate computers. Me on one, a friend on the other. We both load the game up, choose same map, same TWO vehicles, and then enable multiseat. Now, i believe if there was a way to send inputs frpm both controllers to both computers yoi could have some sort of "online play". For example, when i press the throttle on my contoller it sends a signal to both the car on my computer AND the one on his. Sowe basically would be on different games but theoretically as long as theres no sync issues it would work, right?

To clarify, player one would control a separate car on hise screen and player twos and vice versa. They would both be in multicrew

beamng is a chaotic simulation, sub-millisecond latencies in input times will quickly desync vehicles on-screen if that were attempted

Cars in beamNG behave differently each time they're crashed.
Let's say Player A and player B are using this mode. They're both going straight ahead on a long, straight road.
Let's say player A sets up a rock slide at the end of the road, and the rocks will hit the cars when player B passes a certain point.
If one rock on one PC hits the ground in a slightly different way than the other, you've got a whole slew of variables that can happen next. (E.G. Player A's car is completely broken on one PC, but on the other it isn't.)
    Yeah, this would never work.

You can do this very easily using Moonlight Streaming and Hamachi (or zerotier if you want to use your phone)

Also when using moonlight you can connect even more people and they can use controllers making that you can go up to probably 4 playrs or more
