Hi, i wanna create my own mods. But i don't know how to use blender, i can use zModeller good and i do mods for LFS before. Can i use zModeller when i creating my mods? (Sorry for speech disorders.)
You can also use Zmodeler, then export your mesh in OBJ, import it in blender and just export it as DAE. I'm not sure Zmodeller is exporting in DAE format.
Maybe Exporting as 3ds and importing 3ds to Blender can work better? I have always found OBJ to not include UV maps, while 3DS does, but then again it can be lack of my skill.
mmmmh, Carface80 modeled his Caprice in Zmodeller, i imported it from GTA SA mod, exported it in OBJ, and i had no issue with UVmaps that were still there
Yeah, MRCrash mentioned not having issues with UV maps either, all I remember is that there was huge amount of work where I needed to tamper something with every face to get texture to work on model that was imported OBJ, but with 3DS hours of less work. It's quite bit of time ago and with my failing memory nothing is certain. However I did found from internet that people are using 3DS export from zmodeler, so there is that possibility too.
