Definitely. You could easily get in the top 6 maybe 5 folders on the team if you fold for a week straight 24/7 with your GPU.

Just order my 280x. Should be here by Friday or Saturday since it is being shipped from Indy (2 hours away from here).

I would be willing to buy your 7770 off you if you were thinking of selling it.

Hate to kill any money-making or money-loosing you guys were about to have, but the 650 ti sc was ~= the 7770. If you are getting clock speeds near 1200-1300 and a small memory overclock you are probably at least matching the 650ti boost that beat the 7770. The 7770 does fold a lot better though.

Nvidia's Maxwell architecture actually does calculations faster than the same-priced AMD cards. AMD, wtf are you waiting for?

PPD fluctuating between 200k and 230k, on a nice WU I was getting 330k PPD for a bit, if only I could get that every time. :p

The rumor mill is saying that the high end 300 series (GCN 2.0) will have HBM (high bandwidth memory). This was near confirmed by an insider over on another forum. It also looks like the full die will be at least 650mm^2, but we don't know how it will be split. We do know it is going to be massive. Both these make it sound like the 300 series needs 20nm, at least in the high end. I don't think AMD was expecting nvidia to launch any maxwell on 28nm either. I think we might see GCN 2.0 this summer, with high end launching closer to Christmas or 2015. We might see a filler 28nm card (like the 750ti, notice it isn't a 800 card) eventually, but I doubt it will be GCN 2.0. I also think we will see high end maxwell around the same times.

EDIT: I'm back 15 minutes later with bad news. Based on an interview with an AMD guy. They pretty much said no 20nm in 2014, probably not until mid 2015. Based on this, speculation says we might see small maxwell on 28nm with a die ~50mm^2 bigger. No idea if AMD will counter with a 28nm refresh or not.

Oh you. That's more than the entire team.

Suddenly I feel the need to find some quadros with full DP and fold with them. :p
It was nice to be on top for a day or two. ;)

It still shows you on top for now, since Extreme3d stats are buggered. For example, I've gotten around 320k points in the past 36 or so hours, yet it shows me as getting 40k points a day. :p
And I started completely fresh too, didn't have points coming in that I had before.

I would, but my cousin is gonna buy it off me. He need something better than 9800gts sli. His computer heats his room to a sauna when idle.

    ..

I guess he does need it. I had a single 8800GTS in the second slot of my computer for a while. (During winter, it made my room nice and warm.)

Anyone who wants to warm their room should get a Titan-z or r9 295x2. Those 600w have to go somewhere. (Unlocked Titan blacks will do it too. One Titan black can hit 500w when under water at 1.3v. 2000w of GPU POWAHHHH. That's more than a space heater.)

The 8800 series card is pretty cheap on eBay. They run hot enough to kill themselves. (I revived my dad's two 8800GTSs with the oven trick.) The blower fan means that they can heat up a room to the point you sweat.

Get a motherboard with 4 PCI-E slots, 4 8800 cards, and bam. Expensive, inefficient heating.

Or buy several R9-290s and make money mining and heating at the same time.
