I agree with you, the Vendetta needs an update. I had one almost ready, then in testing it didn't want to install properly over the old mod, requiring the mod to be removed, then the game cache to be cleared manually and the mod be re-installed after. Until I can figure that out, or the entire mod is remade, I won't be submitting that update to the repository. At this point honestly I want to redo it all. Will I? Well, I do like C3 Corvettes still, I don't see why I wouldn't return to the Vendetta someday. On another note, one more thing's crossed off my ToDo list; The broken windshield cracks. They're messy, I had to borrow the Miramar's cracked windshield model and hack it into place since I don't have a clue yet as to how I should go about making it myself (I'm guessing grease pencil with solidify? idk,) but it does the job. --- Post updated --- We're good to go with the engine model OP has been edited.
I'll give that a try. The knife tool isn't one of my go-to tools for stuff, it often tends to get overlooked until its my last option for something. And yes the broken windshield material itself is double sided, as seen here;

i've just seen this post and i could not belive it: My absolute favorite car of all time made for beamNG! i know your policy on releasing stuff, and i won't ask the release date, continueing to say to myself that the quality will be very good. keep it up (sorry for bad english)
You just never know sometimes. I'm extremely happy and thankful I have permission to continue using it, I was struggling quite badly with modeling a 10A engine myself, and I saw that and decided it would work. I have switched gears from adjusting the suspension to adjusting deformation. There are some really nasty spots in the vehicle that don't deform very well, and I'm trying to control them as much as possible, while still maintaining some realism and period correctness. I'm using the Miramar as a reference for how it should deform. I'll be JBeaming the exhaust and getting it in-game today too, I cut the hole in the rear face for it earlier; Before After Since filling in the gap between the 2 sets of faces I cut through is going to cause problems with the UVs, I'll be modeling a simple flat shaded sleeve to cover it up.
Love your work but, as i know the car quite well, i would suggest a different shape for the exhaust cut-out, a bit smaller and rounder. great work anyway. (in the immage a 1967 model)
@Driv3r1142 After some more digging around I found this image of deformed Mazda Cosmo's. I found this via searching on Bing, sometimes you get different results based on what search engine you used. I searched Mazda Cosmo Crashed. Hope that these are useful.
This mod is shaping up to be very interesting! Whether it's the real car or a BeamNG-friendly name change, I can't wait to be able to get my hands on it.
